If it is like that, why is there no term for it either? Because inference applies in that way. For it, because the form and fruit are seen outwardly, it is inferred to be the same. Because the second is not seen, it is termed as the same. So how can it become the same term here since both are seen? There is no inference for this either, since what is the use of inference for self-awareness itself? If you say, how can one know two since there is no mutual awareness? If you say that one person knows both, that is not right, because there is no person different from self-awareness. They cannot know two either. If you know two like knowing form and taste? In self-awareness itself, how is it shown there? Because there will also be other experiences. Therefore, it has been shown that self-awareness with various forms is the same. This is based on external objects, and it is also said after acknowledging the grasped and the grasper, ultimately, everything is just consciousness, there is no difference between the senses and other consciousnesses. The function of the senses is also known at the same time, just like forms and so on. If you ask whether the eyes and so on are not different causes? Similarly, mind and self-awareness, mind and sense consciousness are also different. Is there no name for this? Even if there is no different name, there is no fault because inference is also a name. So, is there no fault because there is also a term of inference for self and others? If so, since there is also a term of inference for self and others, self and others should also exist, because there would be such a fault, so it is not, because there is a term that harms it. Therefore, the nature of happiness and so on, for the special nature, cannot be expressed, this is established. Furthermore, how do those that are not knowers know their own nature? Relying on other meanings, some say it is the object of knowledge by consciousness. For the time being, the consciousness that knows others does not have self-awareness either. Does happiness and so on, which are not conscious, have it? If

Because it is something to be known. Happiness and so on will become self-cognizant, and if it is not so, then knowledge itself will not exist, if you say so. No, because self-cognizance is not established. If it is known by others, it is not self-cognizant like a pot and so on. If so, then will it become a common understanding, if you say so, no, because it is known by the consciousness that gathers on one thing. A pot and so on are not consciousnesses that gather on one thing. If it is certain, then those are the nature of what is taken, so it is a neutral knowledge of abandonment. Happiness and so on realize that there is no difference from knowledge, just like clinging to the nature of consciousness, except for the aspect of entering into it, because it is knowledge, so it will not be too much like a pot and so on, some people say this, according to those people's point of view: That and not that, the nature is real, that and not that, the real cause is born, Consciousness is not born from outside the cause, how can happiness, etc. not be known? For the time being, this of yours is not realized by direct perception. To understand by inference does not admit that there is no reason. Happiness and so on are not understood to be different from knowledge, because there is a contradiction in gathering on one thing. Inference also does not enter without a constant. If it is possible to show that the causes are different, then this will become a cause. It is not direct perception, and it is not possible to understand without inference. Because the causes are different, the differences are seen. The difference in the fruit is because there is no harm, so it is produced from a different collection. The difference in the fruit is not to establish the difference, because just like ashes and smoke, different fruits are also seen from one cause. The difference in the fruit that establishes the difference between happiness and so on and knowledge is also not that goal, so the cause should be shown to be different, but that is also not there. When the goal is a non-different cause and a non-different nature, why do you say different, what is the measure for this, this is such a saying. Or if knowledge is other than happiness and so on, then what is the cause of happiness and so on and consciousness? It is the eye, form, and attention, etc. Therefore,
