Apart from the object of the cause, there is nothing else called "that which is apprehended." Where does the mind appear? That is said to be its apprehended object. Because it is similar to the sense-sphere of form, it is its aspect, but not in the ultimate sense. For example, from the collection of blue particles, consciousness transforms into the aspect of blue, but it does not transform into the aspect of particles. If the aspect of particles does not appear, then from where does the statement "this blue aspect belongs to the particles" come? Because there is no other unreasonable reason, there is no fault in this. If one cannot grasp everything at once, then, as you said, there would be another fault: How, together with its own limbs, is the whole with limbs grasped at once? If you say it cannot be grasped, that is not correct. If one does not see the hidden parts, etc., one will not know the cow. Even if one wants to know the main qualities at once, one cannot grasp the complete limbs at once, nor is it endowed with qualities, etc. Because one wants to grasp the part that is considered to be the difference, one will not be able to grasp the complete limbs. If one thinks that all these are differences, that is not correct. Difference and that which possesses difference, because of the desire to express, depend on others. The part that becomes a limb will be grasped by itself. The entities of difference and that which possesses difference are not ultimate, because at other times or at other times of itself, one will think that difference is difference, and difference is that which possesses difference. For example, a horned cow, a cow with horns, a white cow, a round or non-square cow, one will see various different cognitions, but one will not grasp all the differences at the same time, because one cannot grasp the difference itself at the same time. Without conceptual thought, one will not grasp the entities of difference and that which possesses difference. Furthermore, because one's own entity is not different from other entities, the qualities are complete. Because one has not grasped the part that produces the difference, even if one sees other things, the mind will become one. The cow itself is not a cow, nor is it a non-cow, because it possesses the nature of a cow, it is a cow. Similarly, white itself is not white, nor is it non-white, because it possesses the nature of white.

Because of having characteristics, it is white, and so on. Therefore, not holding together the factors that make merits and other things different, even if seeing other things, it will become a single thought, and later it will become merely seeing merits. If because of holding merits, will it later become different thoughts? This is explained: Merits and other differences, if because of holding, it becomes multiple cognitions, even if it changes, but if that is the case, the connection of these will be confused. Previously holding as one entity, and later even if holding differences, because there is no combination with different things, it will fall into confusion. Like this, if holding as one entity, then one should not add multiple differences to the one entity later, and multiple differences will also become one. If because the object is different, it is combined with different things, will it not become one? No, because the different object is also a difference, so the different object will also become one. Therefore, it is not holding multiple things at the same time, and the difference held later will not know whose it is. For the aspects of different differences and no difference, because there is no difference, the confusion of connection is very obvious. For the view of Samkhya: Sound and other multiple things themselves, therefore it is not possible to hold multiple things at the same time. Because there is no holding of structure, it is impossible to hold the structure. All things such as pots are the difference of the existence of the five measures, or the nature of the three qualities. Therefore, when holding sounds and so on, one will hold the three qualities, and one will also hold the measure. If one does not hold it, it is impossible to hold its existence, just as one cannot hold semen without holding a finger. It is also not producing other unique results, because it is believed that all results are not different from the cause. The aspects of complete transformation are those that are desired, not the aspects of the result. Complete transformation means abandoning other dharmas and producing other dharmas without retreating from itself. Among them, the complete transformation of sound is space. The complete transformation of sound and awareness is wind. The complete transformation of sound and touch and shape is fire. The complete transformation of sound and touch and shape and taste is
