That which is called "the determination of intention" is not reasonable as being permanent. If those intentions are different, and likewise the views are different, then by what means is the viewer one? How do you measure that? If the intention is the object to be viewed, and the holder is that itself, then how can the intention to speak and other intentions be held by one holder? If that is the case, why not explicitly state that direct perception and inference are the same? If it is also thought that they are indeed the same, then for them, is there difference in sequence or simultaneously? If the nature is one and the same sequentially, it cannot be realized by valid cognition. Is the realizor it or another? Is it true to say that the object to be measured by one knower is one? If it is not true, then language has no meaning. If the self itself is known by the agent in all ways, then how is it known that "it is now"? That is just talk. It has been said before that there is nothing other than self-awareness. Therefore, it is not independent in the ultimate truth, nor is it in the conventional truth. If it is further assumed that even if the knowable is impermanent, so the knowledge is impermanent, but that which is the knower is permanent. If it is said that "because the other is impermanent, so the other is also impermanent," that is unreasonable. It is explained that because the knowable is impermanent, so the knowledge is impermanent. Things that arise sequentially, it is unreasonable to arise from the permanent. Because it is unreasonable to arise from the permanent. Like space, the permanent is pervasive, it has already been said that nothing is its cause. If the nature itself produces, then because there is no difference, it should produce at all times, or if there is a difference, it will also become impermanent. Or, even if there is no difference, but because there are co-arising things that exist and do not exist, the result is sequential, if it is thought in this way, it is not right, because dependence is unreasonable. If the co-arising things themselves are in accordance with and against, then they themselves are the cause, and not it. It is unreasonable to say that depending on it, it is also the cause. Because in the state of depending on it and other things, there is no difference, so it is impossible to recognize whether it is one's own or another's dependence, so it should be known that this is just mainly language. Precisely because of this, it is said that dependence is unreasonable.

Answer: If the nature of all permanent things is one, then it cannot be a basis of reliance, and it cannot benefit. If there is no benefit, then it does not become its basis of reliance. If that is the case, then impermanence becomes a valid means of cognition. Performing generosity and so on does not require reliance. If it is said that detachment and so on, and possessing power, arise from a previous cause of the same kind, therefore, no matter when it changes, it will not arise from elsewhere. The explanation for this is: In various ways, no benefit can be given, Even if impermanent, it is not a valid means of cognition. Even an impermanent object of power is not a valid means of cognition, because it is not a valid means of cognition. Why is that? Because, In various ways, no benefit can be given. If something benefits or harms in some way, then experiencing desire and so on, and realizing the antidote to desire and so on, are possible, therefore it can indicate. Because it is possible to indicate beings with love and compassion, it becomes a valid means of cognition for the world, but not merely because its own nature exists. Because such actions do not arise from it, one will not become wise without being accustomed to suffering. If it is said that it is omniscient, its nature is naturally established, that is unreasonable. If one has not experienced desire and so on, how can one realize the nature of the proliferation of the root of samsara? If one has experienced it, then he is a samsaric being, how can he be a valid means of cognition? If merely realizing desire and so on can indicate the antidote to the proliferation of desire and so on, if one possesses desire and so on, but is omniscient, undeteriorated, and possesses immeasurable power, then he is a valid means of cognition, that is also unreasonable. If If one has desire and so on, But power is undiminished, The antidote to desire and so on, The teaching becomes only meaningless. If this is the reality of things, that is, possessing desire and so on, it is impossible to have power. Therefore, he indicates its antidote. If it is said that if this is the case, it is impossible because there is no practice of detachment and so on. Then, where does his power and so on, this accomplishment, come from suddenly?
