It is not because of difference, because one cannot realize that difference. If even with the nature of non-realization, it can make one understand, then it would lead to the realization of all aspects and all other causes. The general characteristic of smoke, etc., because it is seen in all fires, etc., therefore, due to its uncertainty, one cannot realize the general characteristic of difference from it. If it is said that the difference can be approximately represented, therefore it can be realized, it is not so, because one cannot realize the difference of the internal parts. If it is said that some differences can be represented, it is not so, because one cannot realize the extremely special differences. The approximate representation of difference is done by relying on it, because it is only something that is possible. Whatever is the realization of all aspects, that is because it can manifest. It has already been explained that it is only direct perception. If it is said that one realizes the difference from seeing the difference, it is not so, because there also one realizes the general characteristic, which will be explained. The explanation of this is: From the dharma with connection, the realization arises to the possessor of dharma, that is inference, hidden, it is the establisher, determined as one. Because there is no other definition, and because it has the definition of inference, the valid cognition of the object of the hidden is not other than inference. If it is said that because there is another valid cognition with another object of measurement, therefore it is not limited to only two valid cognitions, the answer to this is: From direct perception, hidden, there is no other object of measurement. Therefore, only with two objects of measurement, it is considered as two valid cognitions. If it is said that only with two valid cognitions, there are two objects of measurement, this is reasonable, because what establishes existence is valid cognition. It is not so, because valid cognition establishes the object of measurement, and the nature of the valid cognition itself is established from the aspect of self-awareness. Self-awareness is the aspect of consciousness itself, it has already been explained that when focusing on self and general characteristic, it is the object of direct perception and inference. The so-called "because of two objects of measurement" means that because there are two aspects. If it is said that when experiencing one's own two aspects, it is one, this is not reasonable, and it is not reasonable for three, etc. Because two objects of measurement are seen, three and one, I have clarified.

Since there are no other objects of measurement besides the two objects of measurement, it is said that there are no other valid cognitions. Now, because there is a second object of measurement, it is shown that it is not one valid cognition, nor is it three, etc. If there are two objects of measurement, it will not become one valid cognition. Because there is also a valid cognition that has the second object of measurement as its object. One valid cognition will not become two either. If someone thinks that the object of measurement with generality and particularity as its object is one, and there is no other, so two objects of measurement are not established. The answer is: because it does not exist, it is not an object of measurement. If you say it is unique, I also think so. This is exactly what we agree with, because there is no object of measurement that goes beyond its own nature, and that is not an object of measurement, but its own unique nature is the object of measurement. Because it is recognized from the perspective of self and other entities, it has been said before that it is generality and self-nature. Furthermore, because it is certain that it does not exist, it is not an object of measurement, is it uncertain? Like the nature of non-existence, etc., non-existence is also an object of measurement, so how can the statement that non-existence is not an object of measurement be universally established? How can it be a reason if it cannot be universally established? It is uncertainty. In this way, if there are no kinds of previous non-existence, etc., then everything will become permanent, and if there is no result, there will be no cause. That will also become what is said. If one thing does not exist in another, then things will be mixed, so everything will become non-dual. Determining this is the second valid cognition. Just like this, for non-existence, it is not the wisdom arising from the sense consciousness, but arising from the power of things. If it does not depend on the time of things, even if there are obstacles, etc., the wisdom arising from the sense consciousness will arise. Non-existence is also not the object of the senses, because there the self-nature of sounds, etc., will appear. Saying "this does not exist here," if its self-nature does not exist, it will not become the object of the senses. Obstacles are also for establishing its non-existence. If it is thought that this is determined by observing the empty place, then what does the so-called empty place refer to? If it is said to be the nature of the ground, then how can it be said that there is no other by observing it? That is the nature of non-existence.
