It is like this, if combs and the like also have blurry situations, how can others not see them? If it is damaged due to blurriness, and it is thought that something other than itself can be seen, then what is this "other than itself"? If it is said that things can be seen due to sensory impairment, then how is it impaired? If it is said that one can see something that is not itself, this will become the fault of mutual dependence. Furthermore, the general characteristic is also damaged by the awakening of inverted habits, and is seen by the inner agent, so these (two situations) are the same. If it is said that because it is pervasive, the general characteristic will not change, then, of the blurry consciousness, does it become the object to be cognized or does it become pervasive? If it is not true that bubbles are not true because of sensory impairment, if non-truth is not established, then damage cannot be fully established. If the damage is not true, and it is thought that it cannot establish function, then this damage that grasps it is the same for the general characteristic. Therefore, the general characteristic is not capable of functioning, because mere knowledge also has no function. That expression, effort, etc., because it is the inner branch that follows, the general characteristic of lifting the pot and the number, etc., are explained by consciousness. The support of form, taste, smell, and touch is the substance with the branches of the pot. Lifting is action. Number is merit. The consciousness that thinks "this is" has the realm of collection, and its grasping is collection. Whichever of those consciousnesses, it also only depends on the inner cause of expression, effort, etc., and the object does not act according to going and staying. Like this, it is different from form, etc., there is no such thing as substance, for the nature of the pot, the consciousness of the pot, there is no going and staying. The consciousness of the eye, etc., only sees form, etc., therefore, awakened by not seeing it, from the nature of beginningless habits, only from its own cause, the clinging that appears as one, thinking "this is a pot," is experienced by beings, the nature of substances such as pots, if other things are fully examined, they do not exist in any way. If matter is not completely determined by seeing or touching? There are two kinds of matter, namely seeing

Or, how should contact be made? This is also a way of reasoning. For example: Is the object not different from form? Or, is it held in the opposite way? If it is not held as different from form, then form itself does not exist as something possessing form. If, on the other hand, it is consciousness, then it is wisdom. If experienced in two forms, then appearing in two forms is merely a change of eye consciousness. If the thought is "This is a pot," and it is not thought to be "This is form," then how can consciousness not be different? For example: The thought of "This is a pot" or "This is a red cloth" is without error. The reason for destroying meaning is not something other than consciousness. If only form were consciousness, then it would only be thought of as "This is red," and not as "This is a pot." But that is also not true. Both red and non-red things are called pots. Both pots and non-pots are expressed with the sound of red. Therefore, from following and contradicting, after completely examining the differences, it is only in the sense of difference that it is indicated, and the thing itself does not exist in that way. This has already been examined elsewhere. If it is assumed that there are no parts, and only form and so on exist, then how would the thought arise that wherever there is form, there is touch? This is also possible, because it depends on a collection and requires a result. By thoroughly examining within a collection, it can be understood that "wherever it is, there it is." For example, wherever there is an army with elephants and so on, there are people. Similarly, wherever there is a forest with palasha and so on, there are lions and so on. Is there not such a saying? An army different from people and so on, or a forest different from palasha and so on, does not exist. Therefore, relying on a collection or relying on the inseparability of a single result, people make such designations. If that is the case, then in a body without mutual difference, form and so on themselves are part-possessing, just like pots and pillars and so on of form and so on, which are not mutually different. Part-possessing is not merely a name like forests and so on. Its parts are derived from examining following and contradicting, therefore
