The fruit itself is without realization. Therefore. Since it is not obvious to the previous and subsequent things, how can one cling to what was not there before, and so on? If existence itself is the fruit, because the action of the causes is the basis for the existence of the fruit. If not, how can there be action since there is no object? To this it is explained: After seeing, hearing, and understanding, can the cause produce the fruit? Because of foolishness, it is thought that the nature is like that, relying on the cause. If Ishvara is also a cause, then it is the cause, the combiner. Because the wisdom that transcends the senses does not want to understand non-existence. Here, is the fruit pre-existent? Or will Ishvara become the cause? Is it not that seeing existence is merely based on the view of the Samkhyas, thinking that everything exists in everything, and not the things called cause and effect? Does not Ishvara, the cause of going, rely on non-existence to combine the causes separately determined? If the fruit pre-exists, then everything will become an object, so going will be in a state of confusion. If it is said that it will not be so because the object is separately determined, then the object also exists at all times, so what is there to determine? Furthermore, does the fruit arise from a non-existent cause, or does it arise from an existent cause? It is well established to say that the fruit arises from a non-existent cause. What is the difference between non-existence after destruction and absolute non-existence? If what existed before is the cause at the time of experience, then it is not the cause when it exists, but it is the cause at other times, this is well said. If it also changes like this, the non-existent will become the cause, but what exists is not the cause. For these, too, the possibility of action is not seen. If action is the cause, then from what does that action itself come? If it is from an acting thing, then is there another action there? If there is also action there, if there is also action there, then the thing will be cut off. If the fruit arises from action alone, then even death will produce fruit. Thus, it is so.

Even if it takes a long time, why won't it produce results? This series of actions is very long, who will survive until then? If it is said that it is done by self-nature, then results will occur at that time. If the result is at the time of action, then it will become simultaneous. If it is said that when there is a cause, there is no result, then the things that have just perished, if that is the case, there will be no difference. Its immediately arising, if it is said to exist at the time of arising, then arising is not something other than the result, therefore it will become simultaneous. In any case, refuting the speaker is a refutation for both sides. Will there be many things to say? Therefore, let's stop here now. If it is said that the cause of knowledge is the object, so inferring that what was not known before, that is also not true. What appears to the direct perception, what was previously known by inference, since they do not mix with each other, how can its result be understood? If it is said that what is known by inference, even if it is allowed to produce knowledge beforehand, then who will recognize that it is the cause of direct perception? Inference does not recognize that the object seen by direct perception is the cause of direct perception. Experience itself is also not accessible by inference, because its object is hidden. Direct perception is also not accessible to inference, because its object is not hidden. What arises through knowledge is also not hidden. If it is said that recognizing the hidden is the hidden, that does not exist. Like this, if one recognizes one's own essence, then what other hiddenness is there for this? If the appearance is not clear, direct perception does not want to appear like that. When two natures are recognized, they are considered to be two direct perceptions. For example, the near and far sides of a pillar, etc., in the way of recognizing the essence. At what time does the object become clear and unclear in nature, at that time, it is known through direct perception and inference. Just like grasping the near and far sides of a pillar, etc., it depends on becoming the nature of direct perception. However, clarity and unclearness are the power of other differences.
