Therefore, it does not possess that kind of knowledge. Therefore, knowledge and the knowable cannot be established as power itself. Furthermore, this entity of cause and effect cannot be understood as either existent or nonexistent. Apart from the nonexistent horn of a horse, there is not even a little bit of cause itself. If you do not consider it a cause because it is nonexistent from another perspective, then what was previously nonexistent will not become an effect either. That too is nonexistent, and difficult to answer. If it exists, how can it be previously nonexistent? Even if it is nonexistent, how do you conceive of it? For the nonexistent horn of a rabbit, the previously nonexistent does not exist. If what is seen is previously nonexistent, then it becomes mutually dependent. As long as the previously nonexistent itself is not, then this as an entity will not be established. As long as this is not related to the previously nonexistent, there is no arising. And as long as there is no arising, then the previously nonexistent itself is not. If you say that the cause that is empty of effect is the previously nonexistent, that is also not true, because emptiness is not a cause. Is it also nonexistent for other things? Therefore, by separating from that, this will also become its effect. The effect itself is related to the previously nonexistent, and the previously nonexistent is also another meaning that is empty of effect. Therefore, other things besides what appear as causes will also become the nature of the previously nonexistent. The entity that has become an effect by being related to that will also become its effect. If you say that there is no following of going and returning after that, then this has already been answered. The so-called previously nonexistent is not something to be grasped by direct perception and other valid cognitions, but only the grasping of the respective nature of cause and effect. If you say that the previously nonexistent is the very nature of the cause, then the nature of the effect will also be the same. If it depends on another effect, then that too will be subject to change. If it depends on what appears as the cause, why would it not change? If you say that it is because there is no such understanding, then who would trust an understanding that does not depend on entities? Therefore, the nature of measurable entities, such as blue, is subject to change in apprehension. For that, there is no other apprehension of the effect itself and so on. There is nothing that grasps blueness and so on as the effect itself, because it is different from blueness and so on.
