And the entering of the other realization, if it is not so, entering is impossible. Furthermore, if from signs such as smoke, it acts as an entering agent for some things such as fire, even if there is no direct perception, it can be seen, therefore direct perception also becomes meaningless. Just as from very familiar and hidden realization, even without it, one can enter into direct perception. Even without direct perception, one can enter into fire etc. from smoke etc., direct perception will not become an entering agent. If one thinks again: without direct perception, inference cannot establish its own meaning, without that, direct perception can enter from habit. Therefore, for that, direct perception itself is the measure, in any case it is not inference. Without that, it can also be established, therefore direct perception itself is not the measure. If you think so, here it is said: direct perception without habit is not the measure itself, this has already been said. Therefore, for this situation, inference itself is the establishing agent, it should be understood like this. Otherwise, there is no need, it is not that there is no need at other times either. If there is no habit, from what do people enter, if not inference? If there is no need, who would pursue meaning? Things are the objects of pursuing meaning, it is unreasonable to have no need. If one pursues inference for the purpose of direct perception entering, then for the direct perception of the sign, it will not exceed this way. Therefore, both direct perception and inference are not the measure of their own objects, abiding in this, because it is recognized in the world. If you say that it is not the measure, then it is not, because there is no difference. For example: even if it is the same in entering, if something can act as an entering agent, then now the difference of another entering agent cannot be shown. There is no other measure than the entering agent, therefore direct perception and the other are both the same measure, or neither. However, for the entering agent, direct perception is, and the non-direct perception with objects such as the sign of the result, is merely existing, for this situation, there is no action of entering, if you think so, that is also not true, because there is no realization like that.

reason. Regarding this, the certainty that "the means of entry is only direct perception" is completely non-existent. For direct perception, there is only existence, and nothing else that causes entry, because everything is only brought close to the result by following and opposing. This is the tenet of "merely dependent arising," therefore, in ultimate truth, nothing whatsoever is operative on anything. The meaning of "operative" is only conventional truth, which will be explained later. Furthermore, here too, by the establishing means of the sign, direct perception itself establishes other worlds. Even if it harms the subject, what fault is there in us? If the cognition of the subject, which has objects such as fire, is not valid, but because it does not go beyond the nature of appearance, merely with the cognition of the sign that causes entry, takes other worlds, etc., as the object of the sign and the subject, what fault is there in us? If inference itself is not valid, then other worlds, etc., will not be established, so to avoid becoming like non-existence, we merely refute the rejection of our inference, but not with other intentions. If the object of inference, other worlds, etc., which have not become direct perception, also become the object of direct perception, then what is the use of establishing inference as valid? Like this, with great effort, whatever one wants to establish, if that thing can be established without effort, then who would seek the vessels of labor for other purposes? If the thing to be established by inference can be established by direct perception alone, then what need is there for inference for it? Furthermore, if hidden things can also be established from direct perception, if one accepts this reason, then everything will be established, therefore, everything will become omniscient. If you say it is not so because there is no connection, then that is inference itself. Those who speak of inference
