Because it is not through intervention, but through transmission, the ability itself is the inability. Complete inability is not. The hair seen by a person with cataracts, and what is seen from the hair, etc., is itself meaningless, because the ability is not recognized through direct or indirect means. Because there is actually no ability, even without intention, it will be harmed because harmful valid cognition enters. From this, two objects can also be measured: because of similarity and dissimilarity; the realm of sound and non-realm; when there are other reasons; the presence and absence of mind. If one recognizes something as being the same in essence as something similar, that is the characteristic of the universal, otherwise what is recognized is the characteristic of the self. If one recognizes the similar essence of the cow etc. that is present in front, and similarly, if one recognizes by measuring "this is not a cow", then is this the characteristic of the universal? No, because: For the similar essence, where knowledge will arise, that is the characteristic of the universal. Here, it is recognized through one's own essence. If merely recognizing the similar essence is the universal, then here what is recognized is the difference. If one also recognizes the similar essence, that is not so, because one does not separately recognize its essence. Then, if one particularly clings to the thought that "this is very similar"? Even if one particularly clings, on the other hand, there is no recognition of similarity. Not separately recognized, that is non-dual knowledge. If one recognizes "this is very similar", one cannot know that similarity is different from other things, because one cannot recognize other things that are separate from the form of the thing in front. Therefore, because there is no recognition of other things, the knowledge for the universal is merely without an object. For the recognition of inference, it is the very existence of similarity that superimposes the essence seen in the example. If that is the case, will the realms produced from sound etc. also become universal? To this it is answered: No, because there is actually no intention. It has already been said. Similarly, it should also be observed in other aspects. The realm of sound is the characteristic of the universal, and the non-realm is the characteristic of the self. If the realm of sound is

If the general characteristic is the nature, then sound would also become a valid cognition, because it is the object of the general characteristic. If you say that, it is not correct. Whatever is inference for the sake of others, the general characteristic is its field of activity. The field of activity of sound is the general characteristic, it should not be said like that. The field of activity of sound is not the general characteristic, it is not the general characteristic, thus one distinguishes. What is the nature of the general characteristic? It is the object of sound, not others. The general characteristic is indeed the object of sound, but whatever is the object of sound, that is not necessarily the general characteristic. Not being an object is not merely one's own nature, however, only not being an object is one's own nature, if one wants to express this meaning, then there is no fault in this. Therefore, some of the objects of sound are general characteristics, and some are not meaningless. Similarly, even not being an object, some are one's own nature, and some are meaningless. If there are other reasons, such as indication and effort, etc., which have changed from the object, then whatever has intelligence, that is the general characteristic, for the eyes, etc., even if there are other reasons, whatever does not have intelligence, that is one's own nature. For this, it should also be said as before. Or, if there are other reasons, whatever has intelligence, that is one's own nature, even if there are other reasons, without intelligence, that is the nature of the general characteristic. Because it cannot be recognized by its own essence. What is not apparent is the hidden and the general characteristic. Among them, what is indicated by its own essence is one's own nature, other aspects are the hidden general characteristic. If the difference between the objects of the nature of the manifest and the hidden, by what valid cognition is it recognized? Is it by direct perception? Or is it by inference? Or is it by another valid cognition? If the two objects to be measured are recognized by another valid cognition, then it will become a contradictory reason, because there is also a third. Or, if it is by the two valid cognitions themselves, then it will become mutually dependent. If by three valid cognitions, etc., when other objects to be measured are established, the three valid cognitions, etc., will be established, but what is desired to be established will not be established. The difference of valid cognition is what is used to establish the difference of the object to be measured. Hiddenness.
