The self-nature of being without individual discrimination, if it is ignorance, then from nirvana, it also becomes like that. When the aggregates are exhausted, what remains? Nirvana without remainder of aggregates, and the nature of cessation samadhi, are mainly without individual discrimination. But if that is not the basis of afflictions? If so, then that is not the characteristic of ignorance. Because the view of the perishable collection is its basis, it is ignorance, not something else. Why? Other doctrines that contradict reason, such as ignorance, non-dharma, falsehood, etc. Knowledge is seeing selflessness, and what contradicts it is the view of self. For a while, not having knowledge is not ignorance, because not having it also exists in nirvana. Non-existence is also not a cause, nor is it other than that, because forms and so on would also turn to ashes. Therefore, ignorance is contrary to knowledge, like non-dharma and untruth. That is also the view of the perishable collection. Thus, dharma is the characteristic of following the perfections. If it is non-dharma, then it is not merely non-existence, nor is it merely other than that, but it is non-dharma that harms by reversing the following. Likewise, merely not showing the true meaning is falsehood, but it is not showing what is not true, speaking untruth. If that is the case, when one is confused about the true meaning and thinks it is non-existent, and then shows it as existent, then it will not become untrue, but thinking of non-existence as existence will also become false? That is not the case, sounds are all objects of discrimination, how things are discriminated and determined, saying it as it is is true, saying it differently is false. Because sounds are all objects of special determination, showing in accordance with special attachment is true, and other than that is untrue, so it is reasonable. If Bodhisattvas are confused and deceive sentient beings, it is also a very serious crime, therefore they strive for omniscience. Therefore, the view of the perishable collection is ignorance.

Because there is no other aspect that contradicts wisdom. Because it arises from the mind, and because it is an object, the reversed object is ignorance. Because the basis, object, aspect, time, and substance are the same, they are concordant. Also, because it is said that the nature of understanding, which is the opposite of the aspect of wisdom, is ignorance, it is said in those sutras. What is it that is free from ignorance? It is that which is free from excessive imputation and attachment to things as they are. Similarly, all that arises and exists in the world is born from the manifest attachment to the view of self. If there is no manifest attachment to self, it will not arise. If manifest attachment to self is a view, then it is also concordant with ignorance. Therefore, since it does not arise without it, it should be understood that ignorance is taught from the perspective of view. If it is said that the view of the aggregates itself is not ignorance, this is also not acceptable. If it is shown as a branch of ignorance, then showing its nature is: after setting it aside, showing something else to it is not an embellishment of sound. Therefore, there is not the slightest measure for this demonstration of ignorance. For the opposite, there is a need for measure, it is shown as it is. There is not the slightest measure for this statement that ignorance is shown from the perspective of view. The view of the aggregates itself is the basis of all certainty, for this statement, the measure has already been shown. If the view of the aggregates is of a non-discriminating nature, or of a non-discriminating nature, or anything else, it follows all afflictions. Therefore, the view of the aggregates is spoken of in this way. Because the specific word is not of a general meaning. Similarly, if ignorance itself is a view, then the meaning of concordance will also become meaningless, since it is impossible for that to be concordant with itself. The answer to this debate: what contradiction there is should be explained here. Because the view of emptiness is contradictory, its nature is all faults.
