Transformation. Others suffer from asceticism, others experience the bliss of the heavens, others are weary from studying treatises, others, at the time of understanding the treatises, what need does the realized one have for wealth? The answer to this is as follows: Thus, as long as we are not destroyed, and are completely afflicted by it, then suffering is merely fabricated, and does not exist naturally. Even if there is no liberator, one should strive to destroy false fabrications. The state of being free from desire is due to love or pure karma. The thought on this is: If one were to temporarily speak of seeing only here, then at that time it would be established. Those are not entering into or striving for anything. Because it is said: The nature of phenomena should be abandoned. However, for someone like us, at that time, in order to completely eliminate oneness, bondage itself is liberation, therefore their oneness is that very thing. Things truly exist, but that alone is not enough to name them, because naming depends on realization. Thus, in the ultimate truth, a snake is not an object to be abandoned, however, being particularly attached to the snake itself is the object. However, even if in the conventional truth, it is like being one, there will be naming in the conventional truth, but in the ultimate truth there is no oneness. If one asks: How does it become the naming of the ultimate truth? That is not so, because: How oneness is conventional, naming is also conventional. How there is no oneness in that, the thing named does not exist. Other than one's own nature, effort does not exist in some cases. The things of cause and effect are not the basis for distinguishing in an argument. Why say that this result arises from this, this action is not the behavior of the wise. Thus, those who possess realization, in any case, do not enter into or discriminate. Because the objects of before and after, valid cognition cannot fully recognize. Even in an instant, in any case, the possibility of entering does not exist. Therefore, no effort exists, therefore it is mistaken. Having promised, one also says: The state of being free from desire. And so on. If the sacred meaning is realized, if there is no entry at all, it will not become the conduct of being free from desire, because before and after...

Depending on the case endings, even if understanding actions and knowledge, it is through compassion that one enters. Just as a king treats his subjects, benefit comes from lineage and self-exertion. Because one mainly engages in aspiration prayers, its fruit arises from the power of the karma of aspiration prayers. What objection is there to this? Therefore, in order to avoid clinging to the reversal of things as they appear, effort is needed. If it is not like that, it will not be avoided by experiencing the suffering of delusion. If karma exists, then because there is also karma from other lives, it will become connected with other lives. However, if an Arhat has no ability to repay karmic debts, then it will not exist either. The explanation for this is: because the noble ones desire no reversal. Other karma that has completely transcended existence cannot project, because the factors that act together have been exhausted. The noble ones have no effort, so they cannot reverse it. Effort is also abandoned by being free from attachment, because with equanimity, they do not hold any expectations. Precisely because there is no expectation, other lives are not accomplished. Therefore, the factors that act together, because they do not have the characteristic of craving, the life previously generated by craving will only exhaust that one, there is no other, thus it abides. If love is for the sake of saving from suffering, then it will only affect sentient beings, is it not for others? Because the view of self has been abandoned, there are no sentient beings, and there is no clinging to sentient beings either. So, because of love, will it become that the clinging to sentient beings has not been abandoned? The answer to this is: because understanding suffering is not contradictory. The arising of things, phenomena, and love, which have prior actions, is not accompanied by sentient beings. When suffering is clearly experienced as all things possessing the three sufferings are suffering, then the characteristic of arising, craving will be separated. After abandoning arising, because there is no desire and so on, there is no contradiction with the assembly of all sentient beings, it is equanimity. Therefore, from seeing suffering and relying on things themselves, great compassion arises, but in that state, there is no connection with clinging to sentient beings. Just like that
