That, the so-called "its cause" refers to things that are considered to be the cause of happiness. The so-called "opposite of that" refers to things that are incompatible. Those who have not abandoned self-grasping are those among the outsiders who are free from desire. The so-called "merely not desiring" refers to merely not desiring oneself. Thus, even if one abandons conceptualization by not desiring underground tumors, diseases, and pains, etc., if one fully examines the definite arising of the higher grounds, one will accept them. The so-called "the other is not" means that it is not because of selflessness, but because one is accustomed to seeing. The so-called "just said" refers to the characteristic of seeing selflessness itself. The so-called "when it enters" refers to when birth and faults enter, that is, when birth enters and faults enter, samsara and individual ordinary beings will also arise. The so-called "that true different self" refers to the differences of those who see selflessness. Among them, true, because it is not inverted. Different, because it is contrary to self-grasping. Self, because the mind enters naturally, it is the nature itself. Distinguishing with three words is the cause of things. The so-called "that is true," etc., will be explained. The so-called "because it is true, one does not make efforts of fabrication" means that if the view of selflessness is correct, then how can one make efforts to eliminate it? This has also been predetermined, that is: harmlessness and true meaning, nature and inversion, even if diligent, there is no harm, because the mind is attached to that side. Because there is no affliction itself, there is no disease, because there is no complete suffering. That is, there is no suffering, this is explained by this. If you ask how there is no suffering? Again, the suffering of samsara, etc., is mentioned. In the scriptures, "without fault" appears, which is not reasonable. The so-called "offering fields, walking," etc., for example, a monkey-like person who is free from desire, due to previous habits, in begging, etc.

The leaping and transforming at the time of change is called "the subject." Common usages, such as speaking of caste, etc., for example, the son of the noble Arhat Polinda, because he was born as a Brahmin many times, so due to the influence of previous habits, he vehemently speaks of caste words for everything. It is not shown in the subject, it is about the mind that is separated from good and non-good. "The speaker himself" etc., this word "etc." includes "existence itself" etc. It is said thus: Whoever has manifest pride, if knowledge, the measurable itself, and things themselves, etc., which have characteristics, can be refuted by valid reasoning, then who would speculate about it? Thus it is said. "Transforming into other" means again not returning etc. Whatever part has no increase and decrease, that is called constantly existing. That very constancy, because it is constancy itself, is constancy itself. "Contradictory aspect" means that cessation and permanence are contradictory. The word "etc." in "occasionally arising aspect" etc. refers to the distinctiveness etc. that arises from the difference of action and cause. "Preceded by the view of self"'s strong will etc., afflictions refer to pride and doubt etc. Proximate afflictions refer to shamelessness, excitement, and stinginess etc. "Is the second reason" means whatever is said by "there is no means of exhaustion" etc., the contradictory cause is also its nature, this habit exists here, thus combining the words. For example, whoever has the nature of contradictory causes such as fire etc. "The dharmas that are not becoming like that" etc. are the second combination. "Not the reason before it is established" means whoever has the habit of the nature of contradictory causes, that is what is said by "is" etc. This is also not, also the second. "In some cases, because it has already been shown" means, in order to understand the nature of the cause, the cause of contradiction is shown by "its dissimilar qualities also change from this" etc. At many times also in many ways.
