In all chapters. The cause of non-weariness will be explained. The ability to generate knowledge is different. Therefore. The word "also" should be observed as being very close to that which is called this. Because it must be combined sequentially. Therefore, this is the meaning of collecting other arguments, that is, what is said by the word "also" and so on. Like sprouts etc. from non-existence, for example, those who manifestly desire to act together, if one decays, it is the same as non-existence and the absence of knowledge if any of the eyes etc. decay. The ability to generate knowledge is different. That which is called this, for example, the eye faculty is able to generate consciousness with form as its object, but it is not able to generate consciousness with the sound of reason etc. as its object. Similarly, the ear etc. should also be able to generate consciousness of their respective realms. By this very difference in ability, it is understood that the faculties are diverse, and that consciousness together with conceptualization is widely known to be the realm of all things. If it arises directly from the faculty, then it will become clear to all realms. Therefore, consciousness arises only through one faculty gate, and if only this one can accomplish all actions, then speculating on other faculties will become meaningless. That itself is shown by "if" etc. Those who think that it arises from the collection of all faculties, is not its basis only arising from one faculty gate? If the basis is produced by one faculty, why say all realms etc.? The answer is: It should be admitted that it arises from everything, otherwise, if it is not one faculty then it cannot arise, then it will be seen. The others do not exist, called eye consciousness etc. Consciousness together with conceptualization, when it arises from the eye faculty gate, is with form as its object, and when it arises from the ear faculty gate, it is with sound as its object.

Similarly, when arising from the power of other faculties, it possesses an object that is in accordance with that (faculty). Therefore, it is thought that there is no fault of lacking other faculties. The term "similar to that wisdom" means similar to the wisdom of the faculty. Therefore, it is considered that because of appearing clearly, the very nature of being together with conceptual thought has declined. It abides in an undecided object and a compatible object. The word "etc." includes taking things such as being without incompleteness. The term "consciousness does not depend on it" means that it does not depend on the undecidedness of faculties and objects, etc. Even if there is undecidedness, etc., it will still arise. The basis of consciousness itself is pervaded by the very nature of having consciousness, and on that (basis) there is also a consciousness that contradicts it, thus, the pervader is contradictory, which is what is seen. When preventing contradiction by the nature of the proximate object of consciousness and non-consciousness, it is a measure with harm. Therefore, there is no doubt about turning back. That will be explained later. The terms "name" and "form" mean that name is mind and what arises from mind. Form is the body with faculties. The term "non-definitive" is because it is possible that the faculties are not complete with each other. This means that merely existing together is not a reason, but it is definitive, because that (existing together) does not enter into the dissimilar aspect. It is said, "It is not non-definitive." "That for others also," etc., that refers to the separation of co-existence from definiteness. The term "for others also" refers to the body and the faculties as well. Separated from this (body), separated from form, that formless, is what is commonly known as the formless realm. There, being separated from desire for form will arise. Therefore, because there is no karma that projects form, even without a body and faculties, there is consciousness. If someone says that at some other time it has become such a boundary, it is not established, therefore, other examples are, like this, for this also, etc., it is said that the reason is not established, which is called "co-existing with definiteness."
