It means that wisdom arises gradually. The term "from the body" refers to the fifth of what comes from where, because it is itself speaking of a supreme birth. The term "collection of those wishing to be born" refers to the collection of the faculties of wisdom. The term "because of seeing the cause" means that the collection of the faculties of wisdom, in whatever state it exists, is seen as the cause itself. The term "in all places" is cut off by "later also" and so on. The later explanation of this is "after death." If it is said that whatever was the cause before is also the cause later, what certainty is there in this? Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, it is also able to connect," because it possessed the ability to connect even before. If that is the cause, if it also exists later, why would it not become the cause? If it is asked, how is the ability to connect? It is said, "Because there is nothing incomplete later," because later also, like wisdom and so on, there is no loss of attachment to self. In order to prove that there is nothing incomplete later, it is said, "For others who assert established tenets, there is certainly a reason," which is asking. The collection of future wisdom and so on exists, and the absence of that connection is the absence of arising immediately after the mind of death. The term "contradiction is changed as if it were an object" means that even if there is no contradiction between the mind of death and the connection with other minds, it is said to be a contradiction, so it is said. The term "for what is to be proven and what proves" refers to what is to be proven, which is the connection with other minds, and what proves, which is the mind of death itself. The absence of connection with other minds, is it not something else to be proven? Is connection not? If asked in this way, there is no fault, because this is what is to be proven. What is to be proven is shown, because through establishment and refutation, the thing itself is established. Or, it is a term used for what is to be proven in relation to the opponent. The term "both kinds of contradiction" refers to not

It is characterized by accumulation, and also by dwelling while mutually abandoning. What is the mind of an Arhat? "That also" refers to the mind of death. Without connection means this subsequent moment, without connection, since it is so, it is without connection. Possessing attachment to self, not led by other sentient beings, because of wanting to obtain the experience of pleasure and pain, one completely accepts inferior situations. Thus, in the manner of annihilation, it will connect in other beings, showing that this is completely abandoned by attachment. This attachment to self does not exist in an Arhat, since it is so, there exists an invisible cause. Having abandoned attachment to self and so on, is it not established from the measure of thought? Therefore, if the measure is already established, why speak? Because others do not acknowledge this. If they acknowledge it, then those who have abandoned attachment to self will not connect after death, this is already established. Therefore, it should be understood that this is said after acknowledging a view that others do not acknowledge. "Meaning not established by measure" and so on, is what is meant. The so-called "other" refers to the mind of a non-Arhat. If it does not exist, then what exists is non-fruit, this is universally present. The opposite of this is its fruit, since it is so, the opposite of what is universally present is what is observed. "What is it" refers to being separated from the cause. The so-called "no difference to all" refers to the mind of death of an Arhat and the mind of death of a great person, there is no difference, thereby establishing separation from the cause. This reason itself is not established, because it is the fruit, and because it is separated from the cause, as has been said before. The mind of the intellect that relies on exhalation and inhalation is not established as the fruit, or separated from it, separated from the cause, like this and so on, is what is said. "That like wisdom" refers to like root consciousness. "Change" refers to transforming into other forms. "Damage" refers to destruction. "Change and damage" refers to distinguishing. The so-called "not from everything either" refers to the root of
