And, it is said to be made by a person, that is, it is said to be blessed by a person, it should be said that the fruit comes from the blessing of a person. Why? Because without the blessing of a person, that is, apart from the blessing of a person, from the function of things and other aspects, those without the fruit of mantras, see their fruits. Seeing the fruit is only the blessing of a person, and not in other forms. Just as the function of things that do not depend on the blessing of a person does not produce fruit. If the function of things is like that, then they all become proof. Etc., it has already been explained above. // Commentary on Pramāṇavārttika, Volume 36. In order to indicate the example, it is said "to agree for the sake of indication" and so on. My (the author's) poems, etc., if they are read like this, I will use it to accomplish this meaning, like that, any poems, etc., that are agreed upon, are called "like that." The word "etc." includes crafts and so on. That is the agreed-upon poems, etc., because it is similar to it, so it is the same. Just like reciting poems etc. there, those are produced by the blessing of a person, similar to this, mantras are also like that, that is the meaning. Saying that human ability cannot see objects beyond the senses, this is to argue for inability. Everything that is said by anyone who thinks a little is excluded by this argument, that is, the extraordinary wisdom of the mantra practitioner. Because, arguing for the excellence of a person, the measure that comes from the power of things, whatever comes from the power of things, arguing for inability, that is not a measure, but is to be argued as a non-measure. Because all things that promise to argue for inability will be harmed by inference. That is what is thought. Explaining with "mantras etc.," mantras are made by a person and blessed by him, that is, mantras produce fruit from the blessing of a person.

Well, that has already been explained. Not all individuals are able to recite or bless, therefore, for that reason. An individual recites because they possess some excellence, therefore, the arguments that refute the excellence of an individual have also been refuted and abandoned. Although that does not refute the arguments that refute the excellence spoken by others, that is, the principle of not contradicting and not reversing, however, this indirect expression states that the arguments that come from the power of facts to refute the excellence of an individual do not exist. There is not even a little argument that comes from the power of facts to refute the excellence of an individual. If one wants to manifest that an individual has excellence, because they have intelligence, because they have senses, because they can speak, and because they are an individual, they do not have excellence, like a traveler on a highway, if someone asks if this does not exist? Intelligence, senses, etc. have been mentioned. Intelligence, senses, speech, and the individual itself, these can be separated. Because they have intelligence, because they have senses, because they can speak, and because they are an individual. Saying "etc." refers to having hands, etc. All the arguments that are said to refute the excellence of an individual are like seeming valid cognitions, meaning they are uncertain. Why? Because everything has doubt that enters into the inconsistent side, having remainder. Saying "there is nothing more than remainder" is from certainty. Saying "as it is meaning" is non-reversed. Realization refers to inferential realization, that does not exist. Explaining with "intelligence" etc., it is connected to the argument that refutes the excellence of an individual, which cannot be understood. What is that argument? It is said to have intelligence and senses, etc. Why?

English

If it is not to do this, then it is said to abandon and so on. Abandonment and commonality are abandonment and commonality. Because the establishment of those is impossible. In this way, by virtue of the establishment of having wisdom and so on, there is no superior person, is this to establish the abandonment of the superior person, or is the superior person the same as the person on the great road, is this to establish the commonality of another person? For this, neither is possible. By means of the senses and so on, it is shown that there is no establishment of abandonment, because the object beyond the senses is not seen, and there is no abandonment without seeing the object beyond the senses. Why? Even if it exists, those objects beyond the senses cannot be known by those who see this shore. Therefore, it is not abandonment merely because it is not seen, that is the meaning. From the establishment of contradiction, it is also not abandonment of the superior person, because due to the reason of transcending the senses, the superior person is the reason for having wisdom and so on, and neither of the two contradictions is established. There is no contradiction, that is, speaking and so on, together with the superior person, exist on one thing, because there is no contradiction, as mentioned before. By means of another and so on, it is shown that the commonality is not established, and the commonality of another person who sees this shore and who has a superior person is also not established. Why? Because it is not possible to know the difference of characteristics such as seeing beyond the senses. Abiding in other continuums, merely not a manifest person, seeing objects beyond the senses and so on, for those that are not established, with some expression of non-seeing, that non-seeing is because the reason itself was previously abandoned. Furthermore, for the commonality of people and so on, also because some wisdom and concentration and so on, which are assembled like oneself, are seen. Similarly, the superior
