If self and other do not exist, it is said, for example, "Lo" and so on, because it is not established for Buddhists that beds and so on do self-benefit. If it is said that this example has the fault of non-concomitance, if the example has the fault of non-concomitance, then it is a harm to what is asserted, because it will be contradictory. It should be observed that it is pervaded by the reverse. We believe that external objects themselves have meaning, but not the inner nature, for this reason, in the treatise declaring the nature of sound, it is said that the nature of sound has meaning, because differences can be seen. If it is said that the cause of the name of the characteristic of seeing differences is also meaningful, then seeing differences is the cause of having meaning. From the previous connection with the name, it can be understood that it is merely considered that one's own nature has meaning, because at that time there is no meaning with the external object. So, here, if the nature of sound is not meaningful only in its own nature, then not expressing the words that become the basis of the dispute is also because it is not admitted to be established. It is also considered to have meaning, that is, it is considered that the nature of sound has meaning. Because it is the remaining part, at that time, it has meaning through the external object, and the speaker who can establish does not want to establish.

It is explained by things like "emptiness." For example, a pot as a subject of dharma. This application, like that, belongs to those who only speak of "arising." They have made this commitment: the so-called "having mind" does not exist at all. However, having mind is a distinct manifestation of "arising," like the power of alcohol. Wherever the manifestation of having mind exists, there exists the manifestation of having a mind. They also consider that this is because of having a body, so it should be understood that way. Wherever there is a person with such a nature of body, it is called that. Then, it is distinguished by the sound of the pot. That is the second statement of the sixth or seventh that must be grasped, or the relationship between part and whole is the sixth. From any of those, because the pot and the person are both included in the second, it is with the second. For the time being, if there exists a nature that is not an উৎপལ་, another second with the pot, then the other with the second is generally established, and if so, then it is not without something to be proven and accompanying. If so, for the pot, which is the subject of dharma to be proven, if all pots are made the subject, then it itself is not with the second, and if not, then in general, for the establisher, it is also established that the person with such is with the second, because it is the remainder, others think so. To this, it is refuted by things like "accompanying." Even if it is not said that such a person is with the second, because the desired pervasion is to be proven, and that is not established, there is a fault of not accompanying in the example. The so-called "not admitting the body," not admitting is not promising. That is explained by things like "body." In the example, the doubt of the fault of not accompanying is not admitted. The so-called "for both" refers to the person and the pot as mentioned before. The so-called "if there exists a thing that has become another meaning in both" etc.

As it is said, the person and the pot, with respect to the pot to be established, whatever has become another meaning, that will become the basis of any generality, because the general depends on the distinct appearances. If it is said that there is no other meaning of things in both, then it is mentioned "for the pot" etc., meaning that the pot has become the aspect of the general. The so-called fear of not following is because there is no impermanence of sound on the pot, so there is a fear of not following. The so-called contradiction with the promise etc. refers to the fact that when the pots are recognized as different, if a promise is made on the sound for the impermanence existing on the pot, then it is contradictory to the promise, because the impermanence of the pot is not admitted on the sound. The word "etc." also includes the contradiction with the inference, because it is to establish other dharmas on other things. When the sounds are recognized as different, it is empty of what is to be established. The so-called fear of being established is because the special differences of the subject are not fully grasped, so the fear is the established generality. You, for the incomplete statements etc. of the formula related to the two in other ways, In order to show that you will show the same faults after observing in other ways, so "we" etc. are mentioned, for the pot and the wall to be established, any one is another meaning, that is, the general. Or, establishing other things to be established, not existing separately, or, whatever exists on the subject to be established is another meaning, that is, to be established, this is the meaning of existing on the subject of the example. That is to say, any one established by the different subjects as mentioned, because of the transmission of various reasons, because there is no following, so we will not say that it is empty of what is to be established etc. If it is said like that, the same faults will be shown. The so-called dharma to be established is like that, which means that for the person and the pot as mentioned, whatever has become another meaning.
