Then, certainty is because self-certainty precedes it. What is called self and other's commitment is established for both. If they say, etc., this is to welcome the doubts of others. The word "etc." in scriptures, etc., refers to inference, etc. To connect is to relate and completely connect. What is called "famous" means that our own scriptures are very famous, which were very famous before. If reason can establish the scriptures, then how can it be without ability? Because it lacks the ability to establish. What is called "establishment and arising from the root" means that establishment is the method of making the realm beyond the root manifest, and its result arises from the root of the manifestation of the realm beyond the root. The explanation of this itself is to proceed in order and to manifest. What is called "those" refers to craving and ignorance. Even through general concepts, it is impossible to understand. What is called "the one with severed connection" refers to being very secret, meaning that the mind that has become like that does not exist. For example, like the smoke that is universally speculated on fire, even if there is no smoke, it is only fabricated through discrimination. What is called "because of the connection between the two" means that whatever is the dharma of establishment, even if others do not approve of it, it is because it is related to the dharma to be established. What is called "if one does not exist, then the other does not exist" means that if what is to be established does not exist, then the dharma of establishment does not exist. What is called "in some cases" refers to the case of negating general concepts, etc. If it is considered that what arises from sound is itself valid, then what arises from sound is not another valid means other than inference, etc. Because the reason is the realm of meaning. This is explained in the Compendium of Valid Cognition. Through this, etc., because the dharma of establishment has already established what is to be established, the dharma to be established has no ability, and it should be connected to "that".

The term "having" refers to doubt and the desire to understand, etc., because they are the essence of meaning. Words, however, are not of that essence, so their usage is not the same. As for the word "na," it should be used in a definite order, that is, extracted from the phrase "the internal limb is ability," and should be referred to the meaning of the phrase "three ways." If it is said that the characteristic of the three ways that have the essence of meaning is able to understand what is to be proven, then why is the knowledge of the characteristic of the three ways described as inference in the path of reason, etc.? Therefore, it is said, "For its knowledge, the word with ability," etc. The statement that "the ability to recognize the characteristic itself is inference" is because it will not arise without it. Because it will not arise without knowledge, it cannot be understood without understanding the characteristic, so it is not just knowledge itself. Among them, generating memory refers to generating memory. The term "both" refers to the characteristic of the three ways and its words. The so-called "the word that is not one side, cannot prove," etc., means that when the teacher explains what is to be proven, it is a commitment. The definition of the side stated by the particularists and rationalists, "Indicating what is to be proven is a commitment," is because the sound of what is to be proven has the meaning of overturning an established theory. If it is said that stating unestablished reasons and examples will also become a commitment, then this should be understood as being said out of the idea of asserting five parts of proof.

When stating "is," if the author and the thing to be proven are shown, then it becomes a commitment. Any, like stating with appearances, etc. Like this, many who study the Treatise on Reasoning Gates, in order to welcome others' previous doubts, thereby prove the words of the sect. Stating things with appearances, stating at the time of proof, is like the words of reason and metaphor. To this previous sect, it is also answered that this is uncertain. Because the present with appearances cannot prove it. They, in order to welcome the doubts of others' thoughts, say that the words themselves have no difference, etc. If it is said to be the nature of words, then it will be stated with appearances, when distinguishing like that, it is not the uncertainty of the present, because that is not the nature of words. Similarly, if the refuter is uncertain, then if the nature of the refuter's words states with appearances, then it is not the nature of proof. If that is the case, then those, etc., like this, showing the refutation of the previous sect, becomes a joke. Because the definition of a rational reason is not stated, that is, the reason with its own nature and the definition arising from it is not stated. If it is reversed, because there is no harmful measure, that is, if the nature of the words themselves is to state with appearances and have, and will not become the nature of proof, then what contradiction is there in this? Here, the refuter itself is not, etc., like this, showing the answer becomes a joke, here combining with the inability to correctly state the answer. The refuter itself is not, because stating with appearances, that is, when stating that the refuter is uncertain, if the other words themselves and the refuter itself are not, then stating with appearances, when stating the difference like that, it will not become uncertain.
