For a dull consciousness, the uninterrupted appearance of objects and sense consciousness is also direct perception. Intellect is a valid means of cognition. It is also holy, and intellect is also. "That which enters by the power of things" means that it is a valid means of cognition. It is shown by the definition mentioned above, etc. "Whatever appears" means the consciousness that appears in any way. Therefore, it can be considered a valid means of cognition, which means that there is no harm. If asked where this comes from, then it is mentioned that "because the knowable is determined by consciousness." This is also to show that consciousness alone is not a valid means of cognition. Therefore, it is mentioned that "the knowable is determined by consciousness," etc. "It is not harmed by a valid means of cognition" means that the consciousness is not harmed by a valid means of cognition on the knowable in which it arises. Even if the decision is not seen, etc., even if the distinction between things and experience is not seen. "From analysis" means that, for the time being, the one who sees the thing does not experience himself, so it comes from immediately showing that it is not experienced by other consciousness. "It" refers to seeing the distinction. At that time, if wisdom is not seen simultaneously, it is not a cause, because wisdom will not arise simultaneously. This is also because it is established in another way from analysis. Through "this itself is," etc., analysis itself is shown. "Place, existence, and opportunity" are synonyms, because without it, it is not a place, and there is no opportunity, that is the meaning. This is said from the Sutra and Abhidharma. "Just as this is here, so also are the sense consciousnesses" means that just as two conceptualizations do not arise, so also similar sense consciousnesses will not arise, that is the meaning. If asked, how is the recognition that follows conceptualization acknowledged by others as manifest and direct perception? Therefore, it is mentioned that "therefore, similar consciousnesses do not arise simultaneously," if for one object, two similar consciousnesses

When the ground changes, if it manifests a clear image and becomes of the nature of connecting to another thing, then it is also non-existent. On the other hand, it is not desirable for non-conceptual and conceptual knowledge to arise simultaneously. Because conceptual consciousness cannot enter simultaneously, it is necessary to exclude the simultaneous arising with non-conceptual knowledge. Because, if it is thought that through the discriminating cognition of recognition, the image of mixing and unifying the object that clearly appears as "this is it" is the reason why the discriminating cognition of recognition clearly appears. In order to clarify, whatever considers the clear appearance of recognition itself to be the definite perception, therefore it is said "clear appearance of recognition" etc. The so-called "because of illusion about the one itself" is like this, even for the one thing, other different similar illusions will appear. Therefore, the illusion about the one is not a valid measure for the determination of the one itself. If it is so, then for things with different knowledge such as hair, comb, eggs, etc., there will also be a clear appearance of the thought of recognition, thinking "this is it". For this, it is not desirable to have other non-conceptual thoughts, because two thoughts cannot arise simultaneously. Therefore, for things like candles, it should also be admitted that there is a clear appearance of recognition. If, because of the cause of clear appearance, the perception of recognition of "this is it" is obtained, then the recognition of candles etc. will also change. Even in the case of cut hair growing back, etc., because the different cause is actually clearly manifested, it will not become perception, meaning it will not become the measure of perception. It means considering that because entering into many things in one way is itself an illusion. The so-called "becoming like that" means becoming an illusion. The so-called "it has been shown to be an illusion" is because the recognition that wants to prove the one itself can also be seen in many things. Thus, for the time being, let's talk about the thoughts of others.
