The objects of the senses are forms, etc., which arise immediately after. Likewise, here, the meaning of understanding this meaning is sensory consciousness, that is, the mind with the second moment of form, etc., as its object, and its basis is sensory consciousness. Moreover, this does not exist for the blind, etc., therefore, due to incomplete causes, the blind, etc., do not have such a mind arising. Therefore, there is no fault that they would see forms, etc., this is the meaning of the summary. If the senses themselves are the mind, etc., then these verses are the former view. What is the nature of sensory consciousness, etc., will be explained. Since the first moment of the senses and objects is simultaneous, in the first moment there is the consciousness of the senses, and in the second moment there is the object of consciousness, that is, the moment of the object, and then, the object of consciousness, the consciousness of the senses, the same, becomes the immediately preceding cause, and there is no simultaneity. In order to show that there is no simultaneity, it is said "self-consciousness simultaneous," self-consciousness is consciousness. That is the second moment of time. Whatever exists there, is called that, meaning that it has the nature of arising in the second moment. This does not exist at the time of sensory consciousness, this is the meaning of the object of consciousness. Because of cessation, it means that at the time of the object of consciousness, the consciousness of the senses has already ceased. Thus, the consciousness of the senses and the object are the cause, so they exist before, because they are the cause of consciousness. The consciousness of the senses and the object of consciousness, that is, the consciousness of the senses and the object, those all exist before consciousness. Therefore, in the first moment there is the eye and form, in the second moment there is the consciousness of the eye and the object of consciousness, so the consciousness of the senses

And, the object of consciousness is simultaneous with consciousness itself, therefore it is reasonable that they act together, which will be proven. If it is not so, it will not become a cause, meaning that if the object of consciousness arises simultaneously with consciousness itself, then it will not become a cause. Therefore, it is also not an object, meaning that because it is not a cause itself, it will not become an object either. In order to explain how things that arise simultaneously are not suitable as causes, therefore it is said "If it is so" etc. The result is also the same as it, meaning simultaneously with the cause. In order to explain that the way it arises is what should be grasped, therefore it is said "Furthermore" etc. Without it or happiness etc., meaning that because they are not different, when one disappears, both will disappear. When entering with the object, it enters only with the object. It means that if there is a root related to the object, then it is appropriate. Because it is determined that it is conditioned etc., meaning that what arises from consciousness and the cause of consciousness, that is, my merit is conditioned. Saying "etc." includes effort and Dharma etc. Mutual happiness etc., those things with different natures will not become different, for this, "mutual" is only an approximate representation, I think it will not even be different from the mind. With what nature it gathers, with it it produces one mind and mental factors, the nature of other minds is also the same. Because it is impossible for a thing to have two natures simultaneously, if it arises simultaneously with one nature, and arises with other natures, that is impossible. Therefore, different fruits arise from different causes. If even without different causes, the fruit becomes different, then it will fall into the fallacy of causelessness. If the nature of happiness and suffering or mind and mental factors are considered different, then will the actions produced by enlightenment and non-enlightenment also be considered different?
