They are not mixed together, because if they were mixed, neither would be acceptable. If one side gathers, it becomes partible, and if everything is its own, it becomes just a clump the size of a dust particle. Therefore, only those that are extremely close together, separated by different kinds, are those with gaps between the finest particles. Whatever appears as a coarse form that is very firmly assembled is an illusion, because the fine interruptions cannot be interrupted. Therefore, the opponent who speaks in that way is a foolish person, because he refutes his own words with his own words, thereby creating illusion. If it is considered that the consciousness that holds the fine particles, which appears as a coarse form, is an illusion, then how can the fine particles of the consciousness with that form be an object? Other forms of consciousness with other forms are not objects, because it has already been said that it is too extreme. The consciousness with the form of fine particles is not truly recognized even by some who have not seen water bubbles. Therefore, fine particles are not the object of direct perception, nor are they the object of inference, because it is to be examined from the sign of the reversal of the fruit, namely consciousness. Others say that it is also the creation of inner habits, and if so, that is not its sign either. Although one wants to change, the coarse form that one wants to appear is superior because it cannot withstand the analysis of one and many, and therefore does not exist in the ultimate sense. The nature of the fine particles, as mentioned above, is extremely hidden, cannot be abandoned for the time being, and there is no valid cognition that can harm it, because it is indivisible and is the only nature. If one thinks that there is nothing to establish it, then precisely for that reason, doubt will arise. Even so, wouldn't it be the case that the selflessness of all phenomena would not be shown everywhere without doubt? Here it must be said that the person who speaks in that way must undoubtedly consider the fine particles to be substantial, because what is not substantial cannot be fine particles. If that is not the case, mind and mental factors

Why not analyze the atom itself? If it is substantial, it will inevitably be divided into different parts and components. If it is separated from different parts and components, like consciousness, it cannot be a substance. Even if it has different parts and components, it still has components. Therefore, since it cannot be analyzed by one and many, like gross objects, the atom will also suffer the same damage. This point has also been refuted by great masters such as Vasubandhu, so external objects do not exist. The so-called "internal complete severance," etc., temporarily distinguishes and explains the nature of things. The so-called "what is this part different from" refers to the difference from the apprehending aspect that appears internally, such as blue and yellow, etc. Mentioning children is because it only appears that way in illusions. Bodhisattvas know that all phenomena are selfless, so they only know the self-awareness that is free from the two graspers. These aspects that appear internally and externally, whether external objects exist or not, the mind itself has two natures. In this way, even if external objects exist, it must be admitted that consciousness has aspects, because without aspects, it is impossible to have grasping. Even if external objects do not exist, consciousness itself will arise in that aspect, so only clarity has two natures. However, the consciousness with two natures is not real, but is established by the action of illusion, just like attachment to appearances, it is established as real in name. If this is not the case, how can one consciousness have two real natures? To illustrate this point, it is said "one consciousness," etc. In order to prove the statement that "even if external objects exist, consciousness has two natures." For those who are attached to the external object without aspects, the questions such as "why" are raised. The so-called "this consciousness is this" refers to the desire to grasp blue and yellow, saying "this consciousness is this." That is to say, when gathered inside, there is no other similar thing, the so-called "aspect of appearance."
