Therefore, listening in this way, which enables one to understand things that have exclusion, is said to show things that have exclusion. That is to say, by considering what is manifested by sound and what needs to be examined as one, it will be revealed that it can generate the wisdom that enters into things. The image of things residing in conceptualization, appearing as external, like its own nature, excluding other things, therefore, is it not the thing itself? If it is not what can be expressed by sound, then will the external thing be considered as what can be expressed by sound? What is the difference between the image of conceptualization, as the expresser and the universal thing, and thinking that the external is what can be expressed by sound? However, to the accusation that "this is just a dispute over names," by welcoming that question, it stated "if that is so," and so on. That is to say, the image of conceptualization, because it is no different from the nature of conceptualization itself, therefore, like the nature of conceptualization itself, it resides within. Therefore, holding it as external, and excluding other things, are all caused by delusion. Even because of delusion, things are not established as such, this will be revealed. Therefore, it stated "like exclusion," and so on, appearing like exclusion, but it is not exclusion itself. The appearance of conceptualization is not a thing that has the function and manner of things, through the form of things, the function of external things is not accomplished in the slightest. In the ultimate meaning, it is not excluding other things, that is to say, because it does not exist externally, therefore there is no exclusion of other things. Even if it exists, it will become either exclusion itself, or not exclusion itself. It is not what can be expressed by sound, that is to say, the image does not exist externally. It means that it does not exist as something that can be expressed, like a universal thing that has been universally examined by others. Or, if the form of the thing of the appearance of conceptualization, which can be expressed, does not exist externally.

It is the very nature of knowing. However, it is not expressed by words. Therefore, if it is said that what is expressed by words becomes the very nature of things, then it is said that it is not expressed by words. That image, which is the very nature of its own characteristics, is not different from knowledge, and is not expressed by words, because words are not applied to its own characteristics. If, because the appearance of conceptualization does not exist externally, it is like a rabbit's horn, not only is it not expressible, but it is also not internal, because it is its own characteristic. Therefore, it is clear that the external appearances are far from being expressed by words. It is not desirable to become a general object. If so, what is expressed by words? It is said that there is nothing at all in the ultimate sense. If asked, how is it that the terminology arising from sound is very famous among young children, and how is it that hearing shows the opposite of things? The answer is that the spoken terminology arising from sound is due to confusion. Thus, according to the expression, the wisdom of discrimination arises from sound. Although it is empty of meaning, it is confused by its own nature, and it takes its own part as one with the meaning of the external world. At that time, the attachment to the meaning expressed by words deceives the listeners, and according to their intention, the expressed and the expresser are established. That wisdom also, by clinging to its own nature, takes the meaning that is different from that person. Therefore, by merely cutting off that, hearing that eliminates others is the expresser. After that, wishing to show it, even if it is the holding of the appearance of meaning, etc., it is a temporary debate and investigation of one's own school, saying that the appearance of the nature that appears in discrimination is actually expressed by words. The one who holds the appearance of meaning: The one who holds the appearance of meaning is the image that appears in the consciousness of discrimination. The meaning of

Of the self-nature of external objects. When it is called "different from that," it is the self-nature of otherness-removal that abides in things. What is meant by "what does the meaning of words express" is the aspect of meaning. Its accomplishment, that is, not being the accomplisher, but entering through the negation of things, what is called "the meaning-maker," that is, the one who desires the cause, its accomplishment is the one who desires the result. The accomplisher of the result is the one who accomplishes it. The accomplisher of its accomplishment is the one who will become the accomplisher of its accomplishment. The opposite of that is not the one who will become the accomplisher of its accomplishment. Through the door of being contrary to that, one enters into the thing that has become the accomplisher of its accomplishment. The so-called "that" means that if one does not declare the difference from that, then one cannot declare the meaning-maker. Therefore, the meaning-maker desires the expression of words, which is meaningless, so it should be stopped. If it is said that the appearance of discrimination also abides separately in the bright ones, and when that is declared, only the part of the thing is declared. For this reason, it is also said that "that aspect is also the object of discrimination," etc. What is meant by "appearing clearly in discrimination" is that the appearance that follows the bright part abides in discrimination, because it is its self-nature. Not in meaning, because meaning abides in external objects, and appearance abides in internal objects. What is meant by "in admitting that words have meaning" is that this is a fault aimed at one's own school, which truly admits the meaning of words. If it is said that the image of meaning that follows is the meaning of words, then it is said "the image of meaning," etc. If it is said that if one admits that things should be spoken, then the meaning of words is unreasonable, how do you distinguish the meaning of words?
