Although it is known to be so, in order to realize the absence of various differences, that much is just a part of the verse. Now, like "although it transforms in that way," etc., first placing the previous part, it will be explained. If asked: How do those make the knowledge of the result without difference? If those differences of appearances, as the sense consciousness of the result, are different in each appearance, then how can the appearances make the knowledge of the result without difference? "In order to realize the absence of difference" is the seventh case of reason. It is explained by "because it is the reason for realizing oneness." Because these alone cannot fully express the meaning, it is said "through those meanings," etc. It means that even if there are differences, those things can generate the sense consciousness that can give rise to the realization of oneness of essence. In order to make it clearer, it is said "those are," etc. In short, those that generate the consciousness of such appearances, no matter in what way they differ, can generate a single realization. The so-called "knowledge without difference" is the knowledge that can realize. The so-called "before" refers to the first chapter. In order to make it clearer, through explanation, it is indicated by "one," etc. The so-called "seeing its fruit" refers to the fruit of the appearances. "Because it is the cause of realizing oneness, consciousness has no difference. Because one consciousness is the thing of the cause, appearances also have no difference." Because it has already been shown there. The so-called "not separated from that fruitfulness, following" refers to having the fruit of realizing oneness, etc. The so-called "not its fruitfulness" means that it is not its fruitfulness, that is, it is not produced through the aspect consciousness that experiences such realization. The so-called "separated from those" is the elimination of others, that is, for the appearance of the cause of realizing oneness, there is following, because everything is contrary to not being its fruitfulness. Because that is the nature of contradiction, therefore things

Because it has become the nature of being mutually different, negation and having that negation are without difference. Saying "this contradicts that" is because of thus promising to be the object of one's own nature. The answer "that fault does not exist," etc., is because sound reveals its own nature, and hearing does not show touching the separation that abides in reality. Because knowledge with the aspect of one's own nature does not arise from sound. Even if it arises, it has already been said that it would become a fault of not having blindness, deafness, etc. That is the ability to negate external objects. It is said, "Even if there is no touch," because whatever ability separately determines that the nature of the external object is not that and that fruit, that which has become the nature is the ability to negate external objects. For this, determination is touch, because the realm is the nature of having various kinds of things. Even if that is not there, it means that even if the sound does not touch its own nature. It is explained by "That is the external object," etc. The explanation of "That sound is" is that hearing is the form of having the tone of expressing the separation of things. "Various images of discrimination" means that the purity taken by various discriminations is related and combined, meaning that the images of various discriminations are close to being said as the speaker. If asked how the images of various discriminations abide in reality, then "one's own nature," etc., is said. Using "deluded by self-nature" means that entering by uniting appearance and what is to be discriminated is delusion. In this way, the image of discrimination abides in reality, which refers to the mind. If it is said how hearing shows the negation of reality, therefore it is said "the mind clings to the appearance and what is to be discriminated without difference," etc., because of the reason why the mind clings to the appearance and what is to be discriminated.
