When those that abide in order, such as, etc., at what time? When seeing enters quickly, it has the nature of entering quickly, and when water droplets fall continuously, it also has the nature of entering quickly, therefore, whatever is blue, etc., will become an attachment to grasping as one. Furthermore, it says "moreover," etc. The so-called "faculties" are the words of the sutra, and this is explained alternately with "the six related to mind," etc. The so-called "even if there is" is the word of the sutra. From the subsequent approximation, even if there is, that is, the phrase "if it exists" will explain. The so-called "those who have their own objects that have become the field of activity" are the present objects. And the present object is not the mind faculty, because the mind faculty is not the present object. In this way, the mind associated with conceptual thought does not directly grasp the self-nature of the object, but follows the consciousness of the faculty and enters. Since what is experienced by the faculty is also momentary, it is destroyed at that very moment, so the mind is not the realization of experience. Therefore, it is not always the present object. Then, if so, how can it be said to be "related to mind"? This fault does not exist, because it is not said to show the present object, but to show how the five faculties enter the present object, and the mind also enters the object that is in accordance with them, so it is said to be "related to mind." The present object also depends on the five faculties. In any case, are all the things of the faculties and objects gathered together at once? Therefore, it says "therefore, if that is the case," etc. The so-called "thinking a little" shows that the mind also enters its own object. The so-called "even if it is interrupted by the five consciousnesses" refers to the fact that when the six consciousnesses arise in sequence, saying that consciousness is not simultaneous, each consciousness is interrupted by the five.

This consciousness does not continuously hold letters, so it is not said to hold letters. The consciousness of letters is interrupted. A letter called the ultimate of names, one letter is the ultimate of names, and the consciousness that holds only that is consciousness, because the consciousness of each letter is different. The nature of holding letters, which is integrated into one, means that the nature of holding letters is integrated. The name of not holding a moment is because the moment of consciousness is mixed. The name of because there is no staying, staying is being in another time. If the consciousness holding one letter stays in another time, then the consciousness holding other letters will be interrupted by another time. The absence of interval is because the consciousness is not interrupted due to different types, starting from the six consciousnesses, etc. Among the eye consciousnesses, etc., when one consciousness continuously arises on its own object for a certain period of time, it means that it will enter. Therefore, if one does not want consciousness to arise simultaneously, then the appearances with and without intervals will be different. Different appearances also do not exist, because the appearance without intervals between two things is the same. The name of being produced by the tip of a hair, etc., means that even very subtle limbs can be interrupted, showing that the appearances of interruption and non-interruption are different. The name of promising to enter consciousness simultaneously, etc., is to welcome the rebuttals and doubts of others. The interruption of other objects is attachment to it, that is, separation from it. Because of that reason, it will not hold the state of certainty of some things, because it will always obtain holding all nearby things.

If there is no attachment to other things, then why doesn't the sensory consciousness enter its own realm? Therefore, "such discrimination" and so on are mentioned. Even the discriminating consciousness is the cause of sensory consciousness. Moreover, because there is attachment to other realms, there is no ability. Because it is separated from the immediately preceding condition, other consciousness will not arise in other realms either. Therefore, it is said as the condition is, that is: The five arise from the root consciousness, as their conditions arise, is the consciousness simultaneous or not? Like waves in water. So it is said. "Torches, etc." are called the sixth of karma, meaning that torches, etc. enter quickly, following the eyes. Therefore, "abiding in a suitable realm, projecting there" means that the eyes will enter the things that abide in a suitable realm, illuminated by torches, etc. Because it has been established as being separate from direct perception and discrimination. In order to show that the measure that is perfectly combined by explaining the Compendium on Valid Cognition is not a rational measure, "Lala, that is, the lord of existence" and so on are mentioned. "When the example is established, one can understand without observing the cause" means that the meaning of sound is that one has already grasped the conventional. The clinging that combines with sound will not cling to combination if the connection is not grasped. Because universally, in order to merely prove that meaning, there is pervasion. So it is said that one can understand without observing the cause. In this way, for those who are not proficient in conventionality, if they cling to meaning by combining sound, it is too much. The most excessive is the measure that has the harm of refutation. This cannot prove that the consciousness of infants is itself without discrimination, because it is not established itself, and infants also have the possibility of grasping conventional discrimination. That will also be shown immediately. Any sensory consciousness is without discrimination, such as the sensory consciousness of infants. This one who is proficient in conventionality is also sensory consciousness, this is the fundamental proof.
