The so-called "not doing" refers to the meaning of omniscience and so on, and the absence of contradictions such as speaking, it is not to prove the absence of omniscience and so on. The so-called "those with birth and death are established as different from the permanent" means that if one wants to produce another state with one state, then the previous state will perish, and the state that is produced later is birth. Those states with birth and death should be considered different from the permanent state. If it is not like this, the permanent nature itself will disappear. The differences in states are different, so the existent will exist constantly, in that case, from where do arising and ceasing occur? The arising and ceasing of others cannot recognize the arising and ceasing of others. If it is not like this, it will be too excessive, and so on. The so-called "also will not want that" is because it is not true, so in the case of contradictory entities, it is impossible to have one truth. The so-called "by his intention" refers to the intention of the speaker. The so-called "if it cannot be recognized as different" means if it cannot enter by the power of intention towards things. In this way, because it is any one of the sects that are in accordance with the sect, therefore sound is impermanent, like a vase. Because it is close to showing impermanence, at that time, due to the speaker's thoughts, because it is any one of the sects that are in accordance with the sect. Sound is permanent, like space, and it can also approach and show in the way of permanence. This also shows that the cause and the pervader are not considered as guides, because the cause is also the pervader of the result, so it is shown by the voice of the pervader. If it is reversed, if there is no pervader, then what is the valid cognition that harms the entry of the pervaded? It is that entry. The so-called "only related to this" refers to only being related to the pervaded. For whoever is established as the object of the pervader, it is called that. It is also the result.

This is the chapter on understanding the term "returning." The explanation states that pervading with meaning also shows non-manifestation. It means that pervading with meaning is also grasped by stating the nature because it is its own nature. Among them, "because the nature of impermanence is understood only through direct perception" means that at the time of the cessation of continuity, because of having seen the last moment, when focusing on other objects that are devoid of it, the nature of impermanence such as color is understood. Similarly, "later than being ascertained by inference" means that from the aspect of the first moment arising from being ascertained by inference, later, the ascertainment of the second moment is also not a valid cognition because it grasps what has already been grasped. Therefore, "things become of a destructive nature," where "therefore" is because impermanence itself has become another meaning. Therefore, when other things cause it to perish, if it acts on its own unchanging nature, or acts on a changing nature, then, for this, the first case is the statement of "self-unmoving" and so on. The second case also states "even if it is essentially of a changing nature." Then, how do one's own schools show that suffering and so on are not to be spoken of as "that" and "other"? Therefore, "any that" and so on are stated. Among them, "placing the meaning of the word in mind" means that any dharma is considered to be the object of expression of the word, that is, the impermanence itself that abides in itself is also to be spoken of as "that." This "also" is the meaning of the word. "By its nature and separation" means by its own nature itself and separation, this is the third aspect of the argument. "That or other" is the third aspect of the characteristic of such a state. By its nature, it is established as "that," and relying on being separated from it, it is established as "other." The word of dharma shows that dharma and the possessor of dharma are not other meanings.
