Because of the contradiction. If it is realized, then realizing it pervades not being the nature of others, and being contradictory to it is also the nature of others, thus becoming the contradictory that establishes the pervasion. Similarly, being valid pervades not being deceptive, and being contradictory to it is also deception, thus, the second argument is also the contradictory that establishes the pervasion, and those arguments also establish refutation. Inference with the thought of one's own characteristics is valid, which is called being attached to one's own characteristics. Thus, the follower will enter the thought of realizing one's own characteristics. Because entering like the thought, also in accordance with the thought, realizing one's own characteristics, therefore how can it be said that inference is not valid? Others think that because of thinking, it is thought, saying it is an encounterer, meaning that because of encountering one's own characteristics, inference is valid. Therefore, because it is valid, it is not deception. Because inference with its own characteristics as its object is valid, therefore, only realizing one's own characteristics is the validity of inference. Therefore, if one realizes one's own nature, then one has made a negation argument. If one says that there is no such thing, then what is to be established is that, for the thing that a person enters by being attached to something, there is no non-deceptive mistaken knowledge, thus, whatever is mistaken is non-valid, if this second argument is established, that is the meaning. The first refutation is that whatever is the nature of something else from something, then it will not be recognized when recognized, etc., if it is established that when recognizing another nature, there is no attachment to recognizing another nature, then it is uncertain, because when mistakenly clinging to another nature, one also sees clinging to another nature. This is shown by "this is like this, that is" etc. The first negation argument is that whatever is valid will not become mistaken, etc., such as the light of a jewel.
