Because you are its own nature, you will only state your own nature. This fault does not exist. Thus, just as becoming aware by knowing the aspect, one should not state the nature of awareness, but rather it is clinging to external objects, and for that external object, it is also a generality, not a particularity. Just as it is said in the scriptures, "By the nature of meaning, it is called generality." The wisdom with such aspects, because of arising, comes from the power of sound, its self-manifestation is the meaning of the mind that clings to the nature of the meaning of external objects. For "the reason similar to it," etc., will be explained. The explanation for "is made by experience" is "how is the aspect of meaning," etc. "Why does it appear like that" means directly appearing as things like sounds. The mind of conceptual thought with the aspect of experience means following the part of the aspect of experience, therefore it is called having the aspect of experience. In reality, it does not have the aspect of experience. The nature of consciousness that can distinguish names and signs is the nature of consciousness, which means that when acknowledging the mind that appears as external objects, one will also acknowledge the mind with aspects. Therefore, whatever mind that grasps names and signs should also be acknowledged as having the aspects of names and signs. In this way, the nature of the mind with the aspect of mind, that is, the nature of mind, through awareness itself, is the nature of awareness, is the nature of being able to distinguish names and signs, because it is not different from the appearing awareness. Although wanting to change, the names and signs of the aspect of awareness are the nature of being able to distinguish, which is unreasonable. If one establishes things that are different from consciousness, that is unreasonable. Therefore, it is said "different from consciousness," etc. For example, "from becoming the nature of consciousness with the aspect of meaning," etc.

Regarding the aspects with forms, whatever cognition perceives forms such as blue, that is indeed transformed into the nature of knowledge. Because the part of knowledge is always cognition. The so-called "other object" refers to establishing external objects as other. The so-called "sense faculties etc. other than that" refers to sense faculties, attention, and appearances etc. that are different from the object. The statement "resultant consciousness does not arise dependent on other causes" refers to some objects. From this and that, it is known that from the negation of the result, the existence of external objects is established. The statement "therefore, names etc. are established" means that merely through effort and recollection of symbols, conceptual thoughts of names etc. arise. The statement "if it is not form etc." means that the function of form etc. cannot appear in the knowledge of sound. If it appears, then the sense faculty will become fruitless. Universal objects are not accepted because they want to eliminate others, that is his intention. Regarding "because it is not pervasive with that" etc., if one refutes that all knowledge has an object, then because there is no valid cognition that can harm it, one doubts the absence of negation, that is the final conclusion. Thus, what contradiction is there in "becoming devoid of object and knowledge"? Although it is desired to become, there is indeed a contradiction. Like this, who knows it? If knowledge is without an object, then what does it know? Therefore, it will not become knowledge. To this, this is an unexamined statement. If that is the case, then the nature that functions dependent on external objects will not change. The previously taken dependence, having the distinction of taker and taken, who can refute the knowledge with self-cognizing nature that is shown? It does not exist dependent on external objects. With "other forms" etc., it merely shows entering into the uncommon aspect. Furthermore, etc., if one asks, what will form etc. become like? The answer is: it will be taken by the consciousness of dreams. Knowledge is

It is the meaning of being the nature of knowing. Non-meaning is external. ("Object-suitable sameness") is named object-suitable, etc. Those that have the same object-suitable qualities, etc., are object-suitable sameness, etc. Saying "etc." refers to including individuals in the same situation at the same time. If the form, etc., in a dream appears without difference from the form, etc., that exists when not asleep, then why are other things existing in that place and time not perceived? If it is said that the consciousness produced by sleep perceives them, then why do others not see the blue, etc., in the dream when not asleep? If it is said that such is the difference between the two, that only one of them can see it, then in that case, it is known separately by one alone, therefore it becomes the nature of consciousness, because consciousness is of such a nature. It is said, "That itself is the nature of consciousness." "Because of holding the object-suitable" means, it is for the sake of holding those things that have object-suitability. In this way, the form emanated by the yogi will be seen by those existing in that place, otherwise, it will also become the nature of consciousness. The so-called "transforming with the nature of a vase" means imposing the nature of a vase on it. Because conceptual thought is arbitrary, and there is no prevention for other things. The so-called "not thinking of felt" means that even if the felt exists, it is abandoned, and then the place is arbitrarily thought of as a vase. Although wanting to transform, when transforming the felt into the nature of a vase, or abandoning the felt and thinking of it as a vase, the conceptual thought of the image of the vase is not without an object, because it takes as its object the vase existing in another place, or it takes as its object the generality of the vase itself existing on it. Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, for the sake of its own manifestation existing in another place," etc.
