Uncertainty is not so. Regarding the distinction of warmth, etc. Among them, warmth itself is the great element fire, therefore it itself is the subject. Thus, warmth arises from and transforms from that (fire), the so-called burning form of fire arises, therefore, when explaining the cause, warmth itself, the result, the burning form, is explained, because without a cause there is no result. Therefore, as long as the burning form exists, it is impossible to eliminate warmth. Therefore, if something becomes a bearer of the property of burning, and does not possess the excellent property of warmth, then by what means would it not be cut off and become uncertain? If burning is a subject, that is also not acceptable, because it has the nature of an entity distinct from form and touch. If you say so, then touch and form, etc., are mentioned. Just as burning is a property of warmth itself, and warmth itself is the subject and cause, therefore, if burning exists, the warmth that has become the subject or the cause will not be eliminated, similarly, white, etc., the cow is not a property, pleasure, etc., the body is not a property, and white, etc., and pleasure, etc., are not the cause of the cow and the body, one should transform the distinctions and combine them. According to another view, if one considers the body itself as the cause, then it would be excessive. If the body or the cow becomes the property, and white, etc., and desire, etc., become the subject and the cause, then, if the cow and the body exist, white, etc., and desire, etc., will not be eliminated. However, the cow and the body themselves are the subject, this is the meaning of "letters and also the cause." The so-called "because the other is its property" means that white, etc., are the cow, etc., because that is its property, when the subject of the argument, the cow, etc., and the body exist, the property white, etc., and desire, etc., will disappear, and when the property burning exists, the subject warmth will not be eliminated. The so-called "what is the general certainty of form, etc." means that when all the elements gather, it has the state of inevitably existing. Mentioning the general is to avoid confusion caused by various differences.

Previously, it was said that establishing with differences such as desire means "in order to realize various appearances." This explains that it is to establish the difference between body and mind. Saying "because they are not compatible" means because there are no desires, etc., at all times and places. If it is said that because the power of desires, etc., always exists, they arise simultaneously. Then, having said "even if the power exists," etc., this shows that whatever is said to be the non-difference with the characteristic of being definitely together with the elements has already been established. Although it will not become desirable, in all states of the elements that are the nature of the body, all desires, etc., have the power to arise simultaneously, therefore, if it is said that desires, etc., arise simultaneously, then it is establishing on what has already been established. Then, having said "even if there is the nature of power, desires, etc., have their own entity," etc., even if the power is the nature of the elements, but the own entity of desires, etc., that is, for the entry that has obtained the entity of clear nature, it is for the sake of dispelling the existence of that which has the own entity of desires, etc. Because it has already been prevented that "if there is another, then it is not reasonable for there to be another." After admitting and explaining the power of desires, etc., and the difference of clarity, now, in order to show that the difference between power and clarity itself is unreasonable, it is said, "Even if there is no difference in the nature of the elements." Because the elements are not momentary. If there is no difference in nature, then, the so-called "its nature," that is, in the nature of the elements, the essence is one, and the difference of clarity is not allowed, because one thing cannot have two natures at the same time, because they are contradictory. If it is said that desires, etc., do not arise merely from the nature of the elements, but from the difference of change, and that is not present at all times, if that is the case, then the uninterrupted immediate cause itself cannot be established. Then, having said "there is no entry of the difference of change," etc., there is no entry of the difference of change, that is, there is no tendency to manifest.
