Regarding actions and so on, the nature of bile and phlegm of desire and hatred, from their aggregation, both, namely desire and hatred, arise. Therefore, I think that hatred does not arise from the very nature of desire. This thought that both arise simultaneously is also eliminated, that is, abandoned. If asked how, it is said that it is mentioned because it would entail the fault of arising simultaneously. That is, the faults of the factors of bile, and the merits of wisdom and jealousy, etc., would also entail being of the nature of arising in the same way. If someone raises a doubt, such as "How is it?", this is actually welcoming the doubt in response to the fault of falling into arising simultaneously. Just as in the case of arising from the nature of bile, in some cases, objects, etc., some dharmas arise and cease, similarly, in this case of the aggregation of two natures, some are of the nature of arising simultaneously, but not all wisdom, etc. It is prevented by "That is not", etc. Dependent on the difference of similar habits, therefore it is arising. It means that what is similar is similar, that is, the view of the aggregates. The difference of habits is the seed imbued by previous desire, etc. The difference of similar and habits, this is a differentiating statement. Dependent on that, it arises, that is, whatever being has it, it is called that. In the case of ordinary beings, it is of the nature of arising dependent on both desire, etc. When a defiled mind arises for the first time for a noble one arising from the noble path, the defilement there depends on the difference of habits. Because at the time of the noble path, there is no defiled mind. Therefore, for the time being, the view of self and what belongs to self arises dependent on the similar, and through "the difference of factors", etc., it is shown that it arises dependent on the difference of habits. Those are various consciousnesses, different from others, etc. Through "those" it refers to desire, etc., through "various" it refers to the difference of kinds, and through "different from others", etc., it shows momentariness. Also, how are desire, etc.

If it is said that because the nature of wind, etc., is prevented, the nature of arising is also prevented, then? The answer is given by saying that the faults of wind, etc., are because they are the nature of arising. For example, bile is the nature of the great element fire, phlegm is the nature of the great element water, and wind is explained by its own sound. The so-called "no other or slightly other" is because there is nothing other than form, etc., because there is no way to regard them as separate. It is also not non-other, because it would be the same as form, etc., and become non-dual, and because the basis itself is destroyed. From what does it depend? It depends on form, etc., or desire, etc. Even if you admit that, you would be admitting many suchnesses. The so-called "only consciousness" refers to the consciousness of mind, because the basis of the mind's own wisdom has already been blocked. Sense consciousness is considered to be fivefold. If you admit that the power to generate consciousness is different for each, then this is the fault. Because there are faults such as being apprehended by one sense. The word "etc." includes things like if one arises, all arise, and if one is prevented, all are prevented. After admitting that, the four great elements are self-dependent, etc., because they do not enter separately, they enter without distinction. Whatever exists is this nature that is determined as the nature of the support and the supported, which means the nature that is determined as the support of the great elements and the nature that is determined as the supported of form, etc. If that is the case, when it is not desired, the nature of those is not determined, and the explanation of this itself is because there is no nature of support and supported. Because the determination of the form itself as the cause is not allowed, it is because the great elements are the cause, and form, etc., exist, therefore, form, etc., itself is the form that is the cause, and the determination of the form itself as the cause like that is not allowed. Therefore, the great elements, etc., are the nature that is determined as the nature of the support and the supported.
