Said: "Those" refers to the various conceptualizations that show various dharmas and so on. The basis of conceptualizations is because seeing the characteristics of impermanence and so on of the difference of things and experiencing it. Thus, in the ultimate sense, after seeing the self-nature of impermanence and so on, the conceptualizations arising from the power of seeing arise because of special attachment to the seen aspect. Because the conceptualizations with the aspect of impermanence and so on are expressed and arise only by the aspect of what is seen, unlike the conceptualizations of permanence and so on, they do not follow other meanings. Therefore, if someone says that those are not the nature of things, that is also completely abandoned, so it is said "the nature of no thing" and so on. Those impermanence and so on are also not the nature of things. Why? Because its own nature, the very nature of things, appears in that way as the nature of impermanence and so on, and appears separately. Because things have the nature of impermanence and so on, so it is said. But it is not the case that the dharma of things appears in conceptualization. If impermanence and so on only appear as the dharma of things, then why is what is done by conceptualization confused? It said "in things" and so on, that is, holding one thing as many entities, and holding many things as one nature, and holding dharma and dharmic as different, this is confusion, a synonym for error. Again, why is one nature and so on confused? It said "one meaning" and so on, that is, with the difference of pot and so on, making one meaning such as holding water. If you want to understand that way, if you want to understand the nature of making one meaning, in order to show that kind of nature, in order to show the nature of making one meaning, therefore it must be established that way, therefore in order to apply the name as the supreme dharma, so the pot and so on are established as one in nature. Similarly, one does not do many meanings, for example

If one wishes to understand it in the same way as one ascertains visual consciousness with a vase, and that things like watering and knowledge will definitely be interrupted occasionally, if one wishes to understand it as not doing things, in order to show such a nature, in order to show not doing things, because it is established in that way, that is, because it is distinguished and established in the nature of what is to be grasped by the eye, what is made of earth, impermanence, and so on. Similarly, for others, it should be stated accordingly. From the perspective of the difference of things, it is not possible to establish many dharmas on one thing. Why? Because it is impossible for one thing to have many. Therefore, it is said that if one grasps one thing as many, it is a mistake. Similarly, establishing one in many is only from the perspective of being the opposite of not having its fruit, but not from the difference of things. Therefore, it is said that it is impossible for many things to be one. Thus, grasping many as one is a mistake. Similarly, grasping dharma and dharmin as different is also just a mistake. Why? Because "manifest things do not follow," etc., the general difference has already been prevented above. If it is said that the dharmas are only separated from the dharmin, therefore the meaning of sound will truly conform to the thing itself, then, therefore, it is said "their," etc. If one admits that the nature and essence of those dharmas such as impermanence are different, the meaning of sound will truly conform to the thing itself, then the common basis of "blue lotus" and "sound is impermanent" is impossible. Because the qualities such as blue and the kinds such as lotus are mutually different, the words expressing them do not function on one basis, therefore the common basis is impossible. Therefore, the meaning of sound does not truly exist, that is what is thought. If it is said, etc., it is to welcome the doubts of others' thoughts, that is, for the reason that the thing that has the difference of dharmas such as blue is expressed by one word of quality and kind.

There is no fault, no fault of not having a common basis. If asked in this way, the answer will mention "without benefit" and so on. Substance is not beneficial to what is considered a difference, such as blue, etc. The quality of the substance, blue, or the type of উৎপལ་ itself, is of no benefit. Therefore, substance does not depend on being without benefit, and blue, etc., cannot be other's independence. The dharmas of blue, etc., are not differences, because differences are completely distinguished by other's independence. If it is not like this, then "this is the difference of this" will not be established either. However, if it is thought that the other's independence of dharmas is the object of substance, then at this time, if other's independence exists, it must be admitted that it is the thing that is produced and the producer. Differences are produced, and substance is the producer. Otherwise, other's independence is impossible. The producer must also be considered momentary, because for non-momentary things, the successive and simultaneous production of effects is contradictory. Therefore, since the desired result, difference, and the desired cause, substance, cannot exist simultaneously, it is not possible to simultaneously say that difference and the basis of difference are real things. Because in that case, the desired cause, that is, the basis of difference, will perish. The so-called "one" refers to the extinction of having difference. Imputation refers to approximate display. In that case, sound will not become the object of reality, because sound will only speak of the basis of difference imputed by discrimination. If it is said that even if the basis of difference perishes, the sound of its object is still the object that appears in consciousness, but it only speaks of the approximate difference, then the sound is still the object of reality, then, it will mention "only the object that appears in consciousness" and so on. Whatever is spoken, its object appears in consciousness, is called language. Its nature is like this, if it is like this, then all speech that is considered the object of difference will be like that, only becoming the object that appears in the consciousness of discrimination. Why? Because clinging to...
