The reason for saying this is that it is different from those that do not perform such things as direct perception. It is not because it possesses a single commonality called "non-difference." After showing non-difference from the perspective of the result, in order to show it from the perspective of the cause, it is said, "By one," and so on. For example, like the various differences of a pot produced by a single effort. "Those that are not produced by it" means that it is different from those that are not produced by giving. Although the efforts for each pot are different, it is also unique because of the only cause that can directly perceive it, and this will be determined later. Having said "What else?" and so on, one should know that whatever commonality has different characteristics and contradictions, that commonality is different from those that are not its results and those that are not its causes, and is the same as its own characteristics. Or, if it is said that it is only other, then one should know that the commonality with different characteristics is the same as things that do not perform the function of essence, which appear in the discriminating wisdom other than its own characteristics. Therefore, followers, in order to know that the appearance of wisdom is only different. "By the sound of such distinction" means that only distinguishing the horse, for the distinction of abandoning other differences, with the sound of not being a horse, it is very clearly known and shown that this lump has the nature of not being a horse. The nature of not being a horse, which is distinguished from the horse, is a different distinction when considering contradictions such as buffaloes. "Those without unwanted" means with dependence, that is, thinking. "That" refers to the cow dung ball, in short, it is the term for wanting to know the substance of the cow that has the distinction of distinguishing the horse without abandoning other differences. In order to show it so clearly, for those who have not completely abandoned other distinctions, the sound "This is not a horse" is strongly added, that is, for those who have not completely abandoned other differences such as distinguishing buffaloes, for that distinction of the horse itself, the speaker says the nature of "This is not a horse."

The sound that expresses the subject is fully combined. Why is it fully combined? Because it is fully revealed, it is said, "for the sake of fully revealing." For the sake of fully revealing the distinction of the horse, without abandoning other distinctions. Others read it as: for the sake of fully revealing, the distinction of the horse, without abandoning other distinctions, that itself is fully combined. At that time, the meaning is also this: with this sound of expressing the subject, the distinction of the horse, without abandoning other distinctions, that itself is fully combined. For what reason? Because it is fully revealed, that is, for the sake of fully revealing without abandoning other distinctions. For what reason is the sound of expressing the dharma abandoning other distinctions? Because of that itself, from the former, it refers to the sound of expressing the dharma. Sounds, having different causes, applied to one thing, are the same entity. The object to be distinguished and the nature of distinguishing are the distinction and the basis of the distinction. For example, it is said, "This ox is white," and so on. In that case, merely applying to the dharma, these are neither the same entity nor the distinction and the basis of the distinction. Why is it not the same entity? It is said, "It is only," and so on. This is how it is shown: only the meaning that appears in the mind has the same entity, etc., but not in the self-characteristic of the external object, because that is not the object to be stated. If a subject with two dharmas appears, and one consciousness is generated by two sounds, then it becomes the same entity. For this, merely with the distinction of distinction, other distinctions are abandoned, merely with the distinction of the distinction of the ox, with the consciousness of approaching proof, from the sound called ox, becoming its support, that is, becoming the support of the same entity, because it does not appear as one, that is, because it does not appear as the consciousness holding the subject with ox and white, etc., as one. This is the concluding remark. Like this, combining this as an ox is because the consciousness arises in order to know the nature of the white dharma, its
