The reason for saying "because it is incomplete" is that the cause of certainty lies solely in experience. However, those that act together, such as habit, are also causes, because certainty arises only in the state where those (habits, etc.) exist, and not in other states. Therefore, it is indicated by "it itself, therefore," etc.: when one abandons all differences, such as blueness, which are parts of one's own characteristics, and which are partless, and when one grasps oneself completely in a manifest way, then on whatever difference there is a condition that acts together in cognition, that will be cognized, it will definitely be cognized. It is explained by "different from everything," etc., and "just that" is used to explain just the experience. "For all differences" is used to explain the moment, etc., because the knowledge of experience relies on other causes in order to generate certainty. The very reliance on other causes is indicated by "experience is," etc., just as one is accustomed to conceptual thought, meaning that in whatever state the habit of conceptual thought exists, the co-actor generates certainty. To illustrate, for example, it is said, "for example," etc., although there is no difference in seeing the body of a dead woman, for wanderers, prostitutes, and dogs, respectively, just as they are accustomed to conceptual thought, conceptual thoughts such as rottenness, being able to sleep, and being able to eat arise. The co-actor is not only the habit of conceptual thought, but there are also others, so "for it," etc. is said, for it, that is, for the situation where there is no difference in seeing the body. Intelligence is sharpness itself. For example, yogis, because of their intelligence, can determine the moment, etc., just by seeing. Its habit, habituation, is that the habit of that definite knowledge becomes habitual and continuous, for example, even if someone already has many qualities, one can only determine the qualities as one is accustomed to them. This (sentence) is also a repetition in order to supplement the reason for what was said, "just as one is accustomed to conceptual thought."

Time is the appropriate occasion. For example, when it is time to talk about doctors and so on, even though many dharmas arise from seeing a doctor and so on, it is certain that it is a doctor and so on. "Etc." means like that. The word "etc." completely includes pursuing the meaning itself and implication etc. The proximate cause is experience, and the manifest is the accompanying factor that gives rise to special determination, which is the determination of difference. So, when there are many causes of determination as mentioned above, what is the order of these determinations? Therefore, it is said "only these" etc. "These" refers to the causes of determination. The so-called "difference by very close and extremely close etc." means that whichever cause of determination is closest, that determination arises temporarily first. The word "etc." includes that determinations have an order of precedence due to the difference of being very close and extremely close etc. For example, this shows an analogy: when the father is the Khenpo, there is no difference between raising and guiding a child, but seeing the father coming, one will definitely think "my father is coming," and will not think "the Khenpo is coming," because the cause of determining it is the father is the closest. Even if it is a moment, and there is an accompanying factor of being accustomed to the conceptual thought of no-self, wouldn't it be certain for those who have not seen the truth that it is the moment of the manifest etc.? Therefore, it is said "when that determination also changes" etc., it will change if there is no cause of confusion, but it will not work by relying solely on the cause of determination. Because in that way there is neither a cause of confusion, nor are the conditions of the accompanying factors complete, therefore determination arises from the manifest, and not just from other things, therefore it is said "only from experience" etc. Therefore, the view that the distinction of other things is established through sound and signs etc. is established.
