If it is said that even though one sees the deceptive cause as described above, one does not understand, and one thinks that the thing itself is not momentary, this is not possible. How can one understand this? Therefore, it is said, "the last moment," etc. The moment that is not connected with other similar moments is the last moment. Because those who see it will surely think that it has perished. Because this has perished in each moment before. The deceptive cause as described above cannot be established as a reason at all, and it should be understood in this way. If it is not momentary, then afterwards it will only be change, because there is no difference. Because the cause of destruction is not allowed. Even if one sees the last moment, how can one be sure that one is a believer in destruction? If it is said that, like this, one can still see existence at that time, and if one sees existence itself, one will not think that it does not exist. Then, it is said, "afterwards," etc. It is not said that one will be sure just by seeing the last moment. However, after seeing the last moment, when the continuity is cut off afterwards, because one does not see this pot, etc., which is not connected with other moments, and because one sees other things that are not similar to it, and because one understands that it does not abide, at that time, it is the time to be sure that "this has perished." Because that time of certainty is the time when it is established as impermanent by the power of direct perception. In terms of inference, it has already been established before. For example, it is said, "producing fruit," etc. The ability to produce fruit is the ability to produce fruit. That is also the nature of the cause, and the ability is not other than the cause. Therefore, one will think that grasping the cause is grasping it itself. However, the so-called not seeing its fruit refers to someone who has not seen the fruit of that cause, and even if they have seen the cause, they have not understood its nature. Therefore, that person who has not understood the nature of the ability, afterwards, at the time when the fruit arises from that cause, just as one understands by seeing the fruit, just as one understands the ability of the cause. Therefore, at the time when the action is completed, from the cause of the action itself, it becomes the self of the action, not

It should be considered in this way, that is, it is established as "being permanent." If it is not like that, then "is there another reason?" means that it can also be the reason for other reasons other than the cause of existence. "Is it without reason?" means that it can also become impermanent only without relying on cause. This is explained by the view of some sects' treatises that say "at other times," etc. "Does impermanence itself become other things?" means that if the dharma becomes the cause of other things, then "suchness" has already explained this meaning. In order to explain other faults, it is stated again. "If it is like that," means if impermanence itself is other things. The thing is corresponding to it, and it will not correspond to impermanence, because there is no connection. The reason why it is said that "in order to declare it itself, because it does not need it," is because the thing does not need impermanence, because it has no benefit. Or, in order to establish the connection, if it is admitted that the thing needs the necessity made by impermanence, that is, the characteristic of self-nature destruction, then at this time it should be considered that it has become the self-nature of the thing. Otherwise, it will not be related to it either. When admitting the necessity made by impermanence as mentioned above, that necessity itself is the impermanence that has become the self-nature of the thing. Then, what can other things do with the impermanence that has become other things? If it is admitted that the nature of self-nature destruction arises from impermanence, then it can only arise from its own cause. Impermanence is meaningless, this is the concluding remark. In addition, if the thing is essentially moving or not moving, then, for the first case, impermanence is meaningless. For the second case, the thing that is essentially not moving, even if it has other things impermanent, but because it does not conform to its nature, that is, it does not conform to the nature of impermanence, so impermanence is meaningless. Wanting to establish the dharma to be established, that is, the so-called impermanence, or other dharmas such as suffering, also arises from other things.
