This is looking for faults. Furthermore, if one admits that there is nothing that is not perceived, then there is another logical harm, namely, the term "differences of place, etc." refers to the differences of time and proper application. Even for substances of the same kind, various different powers appear, such as the characteristics of taste, potency, and ripening. If one sees only one aspect of a substance that possesses many powers, for example, if one sees a single property of a substance in one place, how can one be certain that it exists in other places as well, as if one were determining the essence of the substance? If one says, etc., this indicates that: if one assumes that merely because one does not see a reason in the dissimilar side, it is unrelated to what is to be proven, and one has no doubt about what is to be proven, then in that case, the property of a substance seen in one place, because it is similar to that substance, can be inferred to exist in all places. Because at that time, merely not seeing a reason in the dissimilar side also exists. But this is also unreasonable, because in some places, the taste, etc., of certain substances are clearly seen to be different, and in other places, they also appear in ways that are different from what is seen. For example, etc., this indicates that: potency is the power to cure diseases. Ripening means complete digestion. Those things that have special taste, potency, and ripening are how the words are combined. Not from others means not from special fields, but from special places, just as with the differences of time and proper application, they will also become things with special taste, potency, and ripening. Proper application refers to ghee made from milk, etc. The people of those places means that those who possess that place will see things there that have special taste, etc. Even if not all things of that place are the same, it is still the same, just as if the forms, etc., are the same, how can it be established like grasping the essence?

Um. Why is that? Because the differences in qualities such as taste depend on the differences in causes. If there is no difference in causes, then it can be inferred that the essence is the same. That which is not seen to have an author in the words of the Vedas is called "such." That is also preceded by human action and is the cause of human effort, and this is the fruit to be proven. Because there is no difference in the words that are considered to be made by humans and those that are not made by humans, this is the statement of reason. Combination means that whatever thing has no difference in kind from whatever thing, then it has the same cause as that thing, just as some smoke is of the same kind as other smoke. The words that are considered not made by humans also have no difference in essence from the words made by humans, and this is called the reason of the effect. The reason is also not unestablished. Like this, with various forms such as detoxification, considering the differences of the Vedas, all those forms are because they are seen to be made by people. Like this, secret words such as those with leaves also appear as detoxification and so on. If, because the essence of sound is the same, even if the author is not seen, it is inferred to be made by humans, then, since the speakers are the same, why, among people, are some seen to not have qualities such as omniscience, and why are all not inferred? The answer is, because there are differences in skillfulness, etc. The difference in skillfulness is the habituation corresponding to wisdom, etc., and that is for knowing the differences of wisdom, etc. Because in all qualities such as wisdom and concentration, the individual differences of people are seen. How can words, etc., be only slightly similar, and that sign infer all forms? Just as words have no difference in cause, so too are those people without difference in cause. If there is skillfulness only in treatises, crafts, and arts, etc., as it is.
