It is said, "of the special" and so on. The special condition depends on fire and so on. The words "cooperative cause" and "the immediately preceding condition that previously inherently obstructs" should be extracted from the sentence. Alternatively, for the word "immediately preceding condition," many words should be added, i.e., "depending on the special condition, fire, and so on, and having a cooperative cause." It is absurd that fire is the cause of the destruction of trees. The so-called "destruction arising from fire" refers to that for which fire has the nature of arising; the words should be combined in this way. If it is admitted and said, "Is it the tree itself, or something else transformed from the tree?" If destruction arises from a causeless source and transforms into something else, then the tree would become visible. Why? Because the tree has not been destroyed. Why is it said that if the tree transforms into something else, and destruction also transforms into something else, then it should be said that the tree is destroyed and disappears, meaning that there is no destruction. If destruction is like this, then the transformed thing does not appear; then it is said, "does not appear." Why is it said like this? Why is it only non-appearance? If the arising of something else causes the destruction or non-appearance of something else, then it would be too extreme, i.e., for any thing that has transformed into something else, anything that arises would be destroyed or not appear. If it is said, "This is destruction," i.e., "the thing arising from fire is of this tree, not of all trees," if explained with a summarizing statement, i.e., explained with "if" and so on, if that thing is indeed arising from fire, the tree does not exist, i.e., destruction, therefore, if it is said that it does not appear because of the destruction of the tree itself, then it is refuted with "that" and so on, i.e., "the non-existence of the thing arising from fire" is absurd, even if it is just a name, then how does one thing destroy another? Because merely giving something the name "destruction arising from fire" does not make the tree disappear, this is not reasonable. Is it not the destruction itself because it is widely known in the world? It is not just calling its destruction a name.
