It is to approach the second aspect by means of actions and so on. It is not true that speech is not made by a person, like this. Speech is not different from letters, why? Because speech is not distinguished from letters. It is explained by "we" and so on. We use words and speech such as Lhasbyin (Devadatta), etc. The speech of Lhasbyin (Devadatta) and other words is like "drive away the white cow". Or it should be regarded as the meaning of words and speech such as Lhasbyin (Devadatta). Except for the appearance of the letter "da" and so on, no other word or speech that is not in the form of a letter is seen in the minds of others. It is similar to the appearance of the second letter, for example, when one letter "da" appears, it is similar to the fact that the second letter does not appear at the same time as it. If words and speech are not different from letters, then words and speech exist, and if "da" is also different from letters, then "attachment" and other words are mentioned, even if there is no attachment, that is, it does not appear in the mind. What will it become like? Wanting to grasp, that is, having the characteristic of an object, because it exists, it is not necessarily existent, or similarly, it cannot be known from other letters. If existence itself is denied, then otherness is also denied. Why say "other"? This is true, but because others think that words and speech are different from letters, therefore, if it is difficult to prove existence itself, then it is said in order to specifically point out its difference. Just like other forms, for example, when other forms appear, no other form that is different from the characteristic of this object appears, just like that. The doubt of other people's thoughts is greeted by "if" and so on. If other letters are impossible, that is, if the result of the characteristic of understanding meaning is that words can be distinguished and understood, then like this, it can be seen from the words and speech of understanding meaning such as Lhasbyin (Devadatta). This is not from the letters.

Because those are each meaningless, and when one letter exists, there are no other letters, so there is no collection. Therefore, if someone thinks that this meaning can be understood from words and speech, then it is prevented by "if it changes" and so on. If letters change into words, etc., if those existing letters also become the fruit with the characteristic of understanding meaning, then it must be a change, as long as the collection of letters is for the sake of understanding meaning. Meaning is understood only through the implied collection. If "if" and so on are different, then meaning is not understood from letters. Why? Because if the letters are no different in other words and speech, then there is no understanding of meaning. If meaning can be understood from letters, then what kind of meaning can be understood from the word "sea"? It will also change from this word, because the letters in both are the same. Similarly, if meaning can be understood from speech that is similar to letters, from the earlier changed speech, then it will also change from the later speech, if it is not a change, then it is not the fruit with the characteristic of understanding meaning from letters. The answer is: no, answer with "no" and so on, because it is not established that those letters are no different in other speech. Thus, one's letters are not the letters of other speech, because due to the difference in human effort, only different letters arise in each speech. If it is said that in other speech, the mind with the shape of one letter recognizes "this letter is this," and from the sign of recognition, the difference of letters in speech is also established, then it is not so. Why? Because recognition is mistaken, recognition is for shapes similar bodies, etc., actually for those with different entities, it appears as a mistake because of similarity. Because there is no example, because there is no example for recognition. There is no single established example for both that become recognition, because recognition is to generate the memory of what was seen before.
