If so, the term "attachment" is mentioned. For those objects that are manifestly attached to "I" and "mine," it is called "attachment," which is attachment to "mine." From attachment to "I" and "mine," hatred and so on arise, and this is the order. It is explained by "not I" and so on. "Not I" is the negation of the aspect of "I." "Not mine" is the negation of the aspect of "mine," like the person in the aspect of no-self and the aspect of no-mine. "No grasping" means that the fully imputed grasping that grasps at "I" and "mine" and what follows it is complete grasping. Without it, there is no attachment to some objects. There is no subsequent attachment, that is, there is no attachment to "I" and "mine" and so on. There is also no hatred for some objects, because there is no subsequent attachment. If asked how, it is said "I and" and so on. There is no near harm to "I" and "mine," that is, there is no state of dwelling in disharmony. For the intermediate side, there is no it, that is, there is no hatred. "Destroying near harm" means that grasping at "I" and "mine" is near harm. Whatever harm there is, it destroys and prevents it. For the side of friends, there is no it, that is, there is no hatred. However, for that which has become an object of attachment to "I" and "mine," wherever there is disharmony dwelling in disharmony, there is hatred. Therefore, without attachment to "I" and "mine," there is no hatred. Therefore, it is concluded with "therefore" and so on. Because of what reason it is so, therefore, those also, by transforming the words and connecting them with "grasping at mine will generate attachment." Attachment will generate and create hatred and so on. However, if asked what is the cause of "view of self" and "view of what is mine?" It is said "similar in aspect" and so on. The same kind is the "view of self" itself, because it is accustomed to it, and it arises again and again from beginningless time, and the "view of self" that arises from its habit will generate "grasping at what is mine." Therefore, all afflictions are

It arises from the view of the perishable collection. The Sautrāntika school believes that the view of the perishable collection itself is ignorance, that is, ignorance. Because of this, the view of the perishable collection itself is ignorance. The main cause of faults such as attachment is delusion. The sūtra says that all afflictions are caused by ignorance. Other sūtras say that the cause of faults is the view of the perishable collection. Why? Because when it is abandoned, that is, when the view of the perishable collection is abandoned, faults can be abandoned. The Buddha, the Blessed One, said that delusion is the cause of faults, the maker of faults. Why? Because without delusion, that is, without ignorance, faults will not arise. In other respects, the view of the perishable collection is considered to be the cause of faults. If the cause of delusion and the view of the perishable collection are the same and are the main cause, then it is not merely referring to the cause of transformation. Why? Because the faults that arise from the many collections of faculties and objects that are not properly attended to are contradictory to delusion and the view of the perishable collection arising alone. Therefore, even if there are other causes, it should be understood that grasping the main cause, delusion and the view of the perishable collection are considered to be the cause. If delusion is different and the view of the perishable collection is also different, and they are both the main cause, then if delusion and the view of the perishable collection are both the main cause, then they are pointed out separately, that is, sometimes delusion is pointed out and sometimes the view of the perishable collection is pointed out, this is the meaning of the words. It is not dependent on beauty, this is to say that it is not showing that the explainer himself is a wise person, this is the meaning of the words. When their nature is not different, the words of delusion and the words of the view of the perishable collection, both of these, are also expressed with one meaning in different names, therefore there is no contradiction with the main cause. The view of the perishable collection is the main cause, also because it is the proximate cause of faults. This has been pointed out earlier and will be explained in the second chapter. The view of the perishable collection.
