It is wisdom, which will be explained in the second chapter. Therefore, such a person is not desire, but the person who proclaims, the one who has exhausted defilements is also difficult to know, so I will say only this much. "Faults are," etc., is to explain the meaning in verse form, faults are greed, etc. What kind of situation is it? It is the nature of diminishing and excelling, having the nature of being able to do and not being able to do, suppressing the unfavorable side, being able to do and not being able to do. The suppression and brightness made by the unfavorable side, argues and understands the ability to do and not to do. With the nature of diminishing, it argues the ability to suppress the unfavorable side, and because the harmful one suppresses the ability to do, the faults, etc., diminish. With the nature of excelling, it argues the ability to suppress, because it is said that the harmful one suppresses, so those are the nature of excelling. The words "like fire, etc." refer to cold and warm touch, etc. For example, fire, etc., if there are harmful things such as water, etc., special and unspecial, then those with the nature of increasing and decreasing, successively suppress with water, etc., arguing special and unspecial, just like that. Greed, etc., depends on external objects, aren't external objects unable to be observed? Unable to be cut off, therefore, aren't faults, etc., unable to be cut off? Therefore, it is said "therefore those are," the word "are" means "because." Those such as greed are produced from conceptual thoughts, for those born from conceptual thoughts characterized by improper attention, the sentence is constructed in this way. Like this, even if there is an external object without improper attention, greed, etc., will not arise.

Having been accomplished. If there is something to be done before that, it will be born in vain, therefore, because of following and reversing, greed and so on are those that arise from conceptualization. Because it arises from conceptualization, therefore, even if there is close familiarity with the conceptualization that has the nature as previously stated, there is no respect for the inner close familiarity with the qualities of the mind that show selflessness, and it does not become special, meaning that it will become non-increasing. It is said that, for the time being, like this, because the opponent's side is not very clear, the cause of faults is not cut off in various ways, even so, the opponent's side weakens the power through familiarity, and it will not become special from close familiarity, it will become small and very small, this is saying the reason. When the qualities of the mind as previously stated are cultivated and dwell at the extreme end, becoming clear, at that time, when it is clear, that is, when the qualities of the mind are clear, even if it exists, it is so. This is the seventh reason. Following is the seed of affliction, because faults arise from this, it is called following. What kind of destruction does not have following, that is the destruction without following. Which faults have that dharma, those are those who have the dharma of destruction without following, meaning that they are those who have the dharma of destruction with habits. Similar to fire and so on, for example, if fire and so on have a very special aspect that is not compatible with water and so on, then it is the same as being a very easily destructible dharma. The combination is also the same, which dharmas have not become special from closeness, those, when they grow extremely, in order to overwhelm those, are those who have the dharma of destruction without following, for example, fire and so on are like overwhelming water and so on and growing. Faults and so on are also those who have not become special faults from closely seeing selflessness, this is the reason of nature. Because it is like that, the reason lies in the

There will be no fault at all. The so-called "without fault" and so on refer to others, meaning that there is no fault at all. Why? Because it is said "like this" and so on. "Like this" is A suffix of a word that is modified according to distinctions. The so-called "because of what" refers to this meaning. The so-called "similar to the arising of the incompatible aspect of becoming the nature of fault" means that, just as from beginningless time, due to habituation, the arising of the incompatible aspect of a person becoming the nature of fault, just like the arising of seeing no-self, even if there exists the nature of the incompatible aspect of becoming fault, it is like the condition, that is, like the proximate agent, fault will also arise. Just as the path can harm what has become the nature of fault, so too, for the antidote aspect that has become the nature of fault, fault will also harm, because the contradiction between the two is the same. The twenty-fourth chapter. By answering with "this fault does not exist" and so on, the so-called "harmlessness" is because it is separated from all the near harms of samsara. For this, the object of the meaning of its own characteristics such as impermanence, this is true and not inverted, so it is the true meaning. Saying the true meaning is also the nature of the mind of the path. Saying the true meaning is the meaning of the mind, and entering into it in a way that is superimposed is confusion. That is also because it is not the nature of the mind, fault is extremely pure, because it enters in a way that is superimposed. For the stage of the path that has not been habituated for the time being, the mind of the path is indeed a companion of a valid person, so if it is considered to be the nature, then it is not for the habituated path either. That is said in the second chapter: "This mind is by nature, luminous, stains are adventitious, its nature from the beginning, powerless, and powerless thereafter." and so on will clarify. For harmlessness it is also like that, for the mind of true meaning it is also like that, becoming like that is also like that, and nature is also like that.
