Because the prevention of all things exists only in non-existence. By saying "that is" and so on, it shows the contradiction itself. The so-called "that is" is to distinguish the meaning of merely pervading things, which indicates that there is no non-existence in the conforming side. The so-called "non-existence" and so on, refers to the fact that it exists only in the non-conforming side. Therefore, the so-called "therefore" is for that reason. These three kinds of reasoning, as mentioned before, are also established for the purpose of establishing existence. In order to establish existence, there is no other form than the three kinds of reasoning mentioned above. Precisely because of this, it can be established without distinction, which is the real reason. Existence itself is already established, but for the Dharma to be established, it is not yet established. If you want to ask, what kind of difference does the Dharma to be established have in order to be established? Because it is said "only this" and so on, it only exists in the Dharma of pervasive impermanence and other things. This clearly shows the fault of non-establishment. In order to avoid contradiction and uncertainty, it is said "if" and so on. If the Dharma to be established, through some means, determines the pervasiveness of the reason by means of following or returning, then there will be no contradiction and confusion. Because contradiction itself and uncertainty itself are for the purpose of establishing existence, there is no Dharma in non-establishment. Such faults as "no" and so on do not exist. What is to be established is that the Dharma is pervasive with the reason, or it depends on the nature of the Dharma, that is, it is not determined as the property of the subject, and even if it exists, it exists with its own nature. Wanting to understand that the nature of the difference and dependence on the Dharma has been determined will not become any kind of understanding. Therefore, for the Dharma to be established, the reason that pervades with its own Dharma should be said to be the established nature, which is understandable, and this is the summary of determining the third way. In order to show this, it is said "through clarification" and so on, that is, through clarification, light.

If light itself illuminates objects like pots, and in such cases, it doesn't recognize the essence within those objects, then it cannot be characterized as illuminating pillars, etc. The nature of understanding has been explained. However, what should be understood? In mentioning "pervasive certainty," what is the specific nature of understanding? That is pervasive certainty, which is the nature to be understood. It is explained through "its dharma," etc. What is the dharma of the subject, what should be understood? It is what is considered understanding, which is determined as pervasive. How is it determined as pervasive? By mentioning "only because it is determined as its dharma," the nature of the dharma of understanding is determined as its dharma, what can be established is determined as the nature of what is to be established, that is its meaning. Just through these, the nature of following and the follower is explained, while the nature of cessation and the causer of cessation is explained by mentioning "when this ceases," etc. "This" refers to the pervasive dharma. If the self reverses, then what should be pervaded will be ceased. It is explained through "self," etc. When the self of the pervasive dharma reverses, the specific thing will be ceased. Why? Because if this specific thing does not exist, then the pervasive will not arise, in this way, the dharma to be established will be established as the pervasive of this. Therefore, "therefore" is the close arrangement of words. "Through this" is through the detailed explanation of the nature of following and the follower, and the nature of the causer of cessation, which was just explained. "The combination that can establish also has two types," which are having homogeneity and not having homogeneity, in order, it is the characteristic of understanding, it is what is to be established.
