It is solely for the purpose of establishing existence itself. Because establishing existence itself has the fault of being unestablished in anything that is not established, etc., if the reason itself does not exist, how can existence itself be established? The so-called "reason" is the reason that establishes existence itself. Any form of fault that has the third branch of the category of faults is one that possesses three, and that is one that will not be surpassed in any way. Those three faults also show the unestablished, etc. The so-called "contradiction" is contradiction itself. Among them, it is distinguished by "that," etc. If a dharma with a reason is shown, then it will become the nature of the result, or it will become its own nature. For the time being, the first case is not established, because the cause and effect themselves are not established. Establishing the cause and effect by the difference of the cause is not contradictory to direct perception, because the characteristic of the negation of the effect of the cause and effect only makes the cause understood, not the difference. If the second case is established, then for the existence itself to be established, if the dharma of the nature of the subject is shown as the reason, then how will the chief, etc., become those whose existence is not established? If some opponent wants to regard the chief, etc., as the dharma as the reason, then how can he not admit the chief, etc., as things? Because the essence of the nature of things is the nature of dharma. If so, then how is this nature of dharma spoken of in terms of negation? When mentioning nature, etc., the so-called "relative to some" refers to the characteristic of abandoning other differences and not abandoning other differences. In this way, by establishing the subject by not abandoning other differences, and then also abandoning other differences in itself to establish it as the nature of dharma, making an agreement in this way, like something different from the subject, like a reversal, it is shown by abandoning the intention of the knower. In order to show that it has already been determined above, dharma, etc., are mentioned, and other differences are abandonment and non-abandonment, which are explained by the two, etc.

It is finished. If someone says that the two dharmas are both reasons, how can the dharma of things become the dharma of non-things? In order to show what can make the two dharmas a reason, it is said, "not relying on things" and so on. That is, if from the perspective of establishing, one acknowledges the dharma of the nature of things, and then speaks of the dharma of non-existence, or from the aspect of negation, one applies a negation that is the opposite of it and does not possess the nature of relying on things, if one acknowledges the dharma of things and then speaks of non-existence, even if it becomes contradictory, that is also non-existent, this has already been explained. Because it is merely the opposite, merely negating others, being regarded as the nature of dharma, then for non-existence, there is no contradiction. Saying that opposite is to clarify the dharma taken from the perspective of establishing. Saying "merely" is to clarify that this nature of possessing reliance on things, obtained by the method of negation. Why does it become merely the opposite? Because "not not negating," this sentence is an establishment that does not take negation as primary, it is not negation, that is, it is merely not relying. Therefore, if merely negation is non-reliance, then it is said, "one who does not rely on things," for merely negation, that which things do not rely on, is called that. For what distinguishes others and relies on things, that is the object of not properly negating. This is not relying on certain things. Merely the distinction itself, it is said, for example, "will not become colored," etc., so-called not being colored, that is itself, if there is no characteristic of negating colored, then existence, the support is consciousness, and it is close to expressing non-existence, like becoming non-existence. If approaching to express non-existence, etc. is other, negating existence, this is the opposite, and if it is action, then apart from the support of action, action is not possible. Therefore, non-existence is not the object of negation. Even if non-existence is not the object of negation, but how is it that it is the complete examination of all dharmas, that is what is thought. At the time of "non-existence, etc., even if it is sound, it will become existence," hasn't it already shown the very object of negation that is close to expressing non-existence? Yes, but

The phrase "because there is no formulation to negate non-existence" is explained from the perspective of the former. And "this is from the perspective of the relationship between action and agent" is the distinction. If there is no proximate grasping, then it is not the object of negation, therefore, now even if it is the object of establishment without universal proximate grasping, it is acceptable. If it is said again that it is not the object of establishing non-existence, then how am I not the object of negating non-existence? Why? Because negation is, for "negation" etc., whatever is the opposite of establishment is negation, because there is nothing other than establishment and negation. The dharma that becomes a real thing called "opposite" will not become non-existence for any non-existent function. Therefore, what was just said is merely a distinction, both existence and non-existence exist, then how can establishment be claimed as one's own? Because the doubt of entering into inconsistent aspects is obtained from the perspective of distinction, this is understanding itself. Entering into inconsistent aspects is overuse, and the doubt about this is from the perspective of distinction. If existence itself is the object of establishment, then there is no inconsistent aspect, and the dharma of the two reasons does not return from the absence of inconsistent aspects. The refuter is also saying his own words, that is, his own statement, when establishing existence itself as the reason for establishment, other than existence itself, that is, for non-existence, he also says that the dharma of this reason will enter. If it exists in both existence and non-existence, then it will also become the dharma of both. If it is said that existence itself is the reason, then in order not to be confused about existence, how can one not be confused? If the reason for the dharma of non-existence is stated for existence itself, then it will also become the reason of this refuter, because the opposite of existence itself is the establishment of non-existence. What is the dharma that becomes non-existence itself? When mentioning "merely things" etc., merely what is pervaded by things, the meaning of having characteristics such as being able to function, having been done, etc., is the dharma of the absence of determination of distinction.
