Even if there is not, it is so. Because in general, it exists in a place that is clear and empty. If in a place that is clear and empty, generally it would become non-existent, then there, for the arising of a light that was not there before, generally it would not become related, because for it, there is no coming from elsewhere, because there is no function. The light that is in different places is also the support of that generality, because it is different places. If it is said that generally it is only one, therefore it is not different places, then, either all lights, because they have one lineage, will obtain one place, or all lights will not have lineage. If it is said how is one different? This is another fault of this. By "things are of the nature of falling" etc., it shows the meaning of the reason, but the tone of 'however' shows the meaning of commitment. Even if it has been committed, this aspect cannot be established for the general, because the general is not of the nature of falling, so this kind of thing is the close placement of meaning. If it is a producer, it is not a placer, that itself, it also said "for this also" etc. For this also, it is promised that the one who prevents falling is the placer, if some reasons transcend the one who prevents falling and do not observe, even if it is not a producer, it is a placer, it is considered that it is done for its own expression. Here, the preventer done by the placer, will that become the nature of what is to be placed? Or is it another meaning from that? Or is it just not falling, if it can transcend and observe, temporarily becoming the nature is not, because it is promised that its nature is established from others. In order to show that it is not another meaning, it said "by the placer" etc. If another meaning is promised, in order to connect the other meaning of preventing falling with that itself, what are juniper fruits etc. that prevent falling? Because there are also no certain harmers. Therefore, it is considered that juniper fruits etc. that are in wooden plates etc. will not fall.

English

Oh. If the downfall caused by reliance is obstructed, then things like juniper berries will not fall, is that so? If it is said that because of obstruction, there will be no downfall, etc., then, the so-called obstruction is because it is acknowledged from things that juniper berries, etc., will not fall. Therefore, refutation and examination are the same. What is it that the so-called obstructing thing causes not to fall? Is it transformed into the nature of juniper berries, etc., or is it another meaning? To apply this to that, etc., all of these are the same. Or, the meaning of the so-called non-downfall, causing juniper berries, etc., not to fall, can also be refuted and examined in the same way, that is, there is no end, etc. Therefore, etc., this is the statement of the third possibility, that is, by what and in what way is the non-downfall caused? Nothing has caused it, because the so-called non-existence is the reason for non-existence, this is what is thought. Then, if it is said how to show that no thing causes it? It is said that there is no thing, etc., for the word so-called no thing causing, it is not considered that there is anything called no thing. Why? It is said that because that is, etc., because that is the action of no thing, it will become a thing, this is what is thought. Because that is so, therefore no thing causing is showing the prevention of any action of things. To clarify this, it is said not doing things, the meaning of this word so-called not doing things is only the meaning of the so-called no thing causing. In this way, it is only the obstruction of no downfall. This is a cane, etc. Therefore, it is because of that reason. This is a cane, etc. Some reliance such as a cane, etc., when there is no obstruction and prevention of downfall, there is no place, that is, it will always fall, this is its meaning. Therefore, etc., this is the conclusion, and also the word "again".

The term "basis" also refers to things that arise from the similar proximate object included in the previous moment of momentary things, and included in the subsequent moment. Therefore, in order to show that generality does not have this state either, even if it is not promised and said so, it is established in order to prevent falling. In order to show that it is impossible, "producing" and so on are said. Those with the state of falling, and juniper fruits, etc., are its obstructors, that is, it is sufficient to have the nature of producing the obstructors of falling. The so-called "for doing that" means for preventing falling. The so-called "having material movement" means having action. Since generality is not embodied, what does it do to abide in the nature of inaction and establish it? That is, it becomes a basis, and by what does generality not fall, and abides in its obstructors. However, if it abides, only its own nature does not change. That unchanging nature is not dependent on the basis, because generality is permanent. Even after promising, saying that it depends on the basis is also acting in the state of difference and non-difference of generality abiding in it, that is, when acting in otherness and non-otherness, the abiding of generality is unreasonable. Explaining with "having the cause of the basis" etc., the so-called "having the cause of the basis" means depending on the basis itself. The so-called "that" means abiding. That itself, that is, the basis of abiding outside of generality, is the author, not the author of generality. That abiding depends on generality, therefore, thinking that it is only from the relationship that generality is also helpful, therefore "for that also" etc. are said. The so-called "that" means that abiding becomes another meaning. For that, there is not the slightest cause dependent on generality. What will the basis of generality do to generality? A question arises from the heart. If abiding is only promised to depend on generality, then "only depending" etc. are said.
