This reveals the contradiction of the nature of non-coexistence. To reveal the second point, it is said "mutually dependent origination" and so on. Mutual dependence is mutual understanding. Abandoning it is stillness, and those who possess such a nature of abiding are called still ones. Their nature is the nature of abiding by abandoning mutual dependence, and this is also contradictory. The word "also" is a word of summation. Like permanence and impermanence, etc., are examples. If the first contradiction also only has mutual exclusion, does the second contradiction also only have non-coexistence? Like this, which dharmas only do not coexist, those are the only ones that are the second contradiction, such as form and taste, etc. If this is not thought of in this way, then why are two contradictions spoken of? Although it is true, it is for the sake of distinguishing the objects. Because the first contradiction is only the object of visible things, and the second contradiction is also the object of non-things, and also the object of the invisible. The word "also" in this refers to the contradiction just spoken of. By focusing on one, that is, by focusing on one companion, then one does not focus on the other, because one does not focus on the other, therefore one only does not focus on the other, therefore the non-focus that is to be refuted is expressed in an implied way. If it is not like this, that is, if it is not said that by focusing on one, one does not focus on the other, then in this case, even if one has already focused on one, but because the focus that is to be refuted has not been prevented, therefore the non-existence cannot be established. Therefore, both contradictions are caused by non-focus, so even if contradictions are established through non-focus, etc., it is only the nature of non-focus. For whom, preventing one prevents the other, for this one, the nature of non-focus is only manifest. Therefore, it is said "preventing one" and so on. Why? Because it is said "prevention is" and so on. For the meaning of refuting other meanings that are to be established, will it also become the reason for refuting cause and effect? Or neither, that is, will it become the reason for refuting things that are neither cause nor effect? The word "that" in this is an expletive or a specific designation. Neither is it, that is, it is neither cause nor effect.

Because "what" is not related to the object to be refuted, if it does not exist, that is, if there is no relationship, it is called "other." If the object to be refuted does not exist, then how can one look at it? Even if the result is not seen, how can one look at its non-existence? It should be understood in this way. The so-called "its non-existence" refers to the absence of a cause. If you ask why it is not non-existent, the answer is because it is not mentioned "it will not fail to eat it because it does not possess it," and so on. The so-called "possessing it" refers to possessing the result, because it may be incomplete or obstructed. This only states the cause, and the ability of the cause is unobstructed, and its non-existence can only be understood from the absence of a result. Because neither is the case, and the result is not seen, it cannot be understood. Therefore, it should be understood that, because of the connection, only the absence of a cause can lead to the understanding of the absence of a result. If it is said that the invisibility of self-nature is also a reason for non-existence, so it is not necessary to grasp it, which is unreasonable. It is explained that the invisibility of self-nature only refers to the non-existence of its own nature, and it cannot be used to prove the non-existence of other things. If you want to prove the refutation of other self-natures, then only the absence of a cause is the reason, so you must grasp it, so there is no harm, you should think like this. If you ask, then what does it prove? The answer is, it is merely... and so on. The so-called "it" refers to the invisibility of self-nature. The so-called "object" refers to the cognition of non-existence, and so on. The so-called "also here" refers to the invisibility of self-nature. When any dharma that pervades is invisible, it shows that what is pervaded does not exist. For example, there is no sal tree here because there is no tree, and in such cases, it can also prove that what is pervaded does not exist. Moreover, the word "also" can also prove the name. Also, how can it be used to prove non-existence? In this way, if someone understands the absence of a tree by seeing the ground without a tree, then he can also understand the absence of a sal tree by seeing the ground without a sal tree. If you ask, is it that only in one direction, the tree and the sal tree become visible characteristics?
