My second "wa" sound cannot be understood as "cow" in that way, because for it, there is no universal, individual close cause. If even without following its own nature, sound can be established on variegated things, then knowledge will arise for yellow and white, which are not individually close. Having said "without individual closeness" etc., it becomes very excessive, and from the sound of cow, even horse will be understood. Thus, for the time being, it has been shown that without a single universal, one sound cannot be established on many things. Now, having said "the meaninglessness of what is promised is also for those" etc., it is to show that in this way, one meaning returning from many, or the different things themselves are not mixed, therefore one hearing can be established on many things. For the first, it is said "there is no thing because there is no combination with one meaning," if sound is combined with one meaning, then it will show one meaning. For the second, it is said "there is no thing because for different things" etc., in order to include the variegated things whose different natures are not mixed, it is taken out from the heart. Individual means the difference of one from one. After the combination of sound has been refined, later at the time of terminology, those who show it in that way, in order to understand without mixing, those who show it do not fully know the distinction, therefore for those, it does not possess the meaning of combining sound. In this way, if one can understand one's own characteristics without mixing from the sound, then separately combining sound for one's own characteristics will become fruitful, and also doing the combination of one sound for many things, therefore it is thought that it will become a universal thing. For that "also" refers to the teacher. Assuming that the universal thing exists only as one, even if it has become unnecessary, worldly people should establish sound, this is a kind of conceptualization. The second is having said "only that one" etc., that "that" refers to the universal. The power of the thing itself means not depending on the actions of a person. The cause for arousing this hearing is the cause for arousing sound.

These two also do not exist, because there is no need, nor is there any action of a person, so there is no combination. That itself, that is, mentioning "however" and so on. The so-called "with some necessity" means that at the time of expression, understanding and comprehending the meaning to be expressed from those sounds, this shows that there is no initial conceptualization. The so-called "establish" indicates the second point, that those who wish to make expressions utter from their hearts the establishment and convention. When many causes are brought together to one result. The so-called "that" is many. Whatever collection of causes arises, those who wish to make expressions must undoubtedly show that single result, because those many causes also rely on the single result that has the characteristic of being the opposite of not being its result, and thus express it with many sounds. The fault of expressing many is mentioned by saying "from that" and so on. The so-called "each and every one" is with the various differences of sounds. Through those also, it is shown that one acknowledges establishing sounds on one's own characteristics, and in order to show that this is impossible, one says "different from others" and so on. This is the object. The so-called "nature that is different from others," that which has nothing in common with others is different from others, meaning one's own characteristic. The so-called "for this also" is for establishing on many sounds. Those also, because of difficulty, inability, and fruitlessness. It is explained in this order. Why is there no result? It is said "however" and so on. This combiner, to show this single result
