Moreover, hearing is also because it is the nature of a branch that completely abandons other things that are different from the meaning that is intended to be expressed; because it is the nature of the basis of distinction; because it is the nature of the basis of distinction. Ultimately, not deceiving with respect to things that are actually different from it means being different from things that do not have its result. For example, hearings such as impermanence and being made, which are nominally established based on the opposite of real things that are contrary to permanence, become causes that are obtained by the nature of a branch that completely abandons other things in such a way even at the time of expression. Since the distinction is true as it is, hearing exists on things such as nominal establishment, and it is not deceiving only by this difference, but the connection between sounds and things such as smoke is not certain, because they only depend on intention. In order to show this, it says "for example" etc. Distinguishing difference is true and sincere for those things. Why? It says "in any case" etc., even if the general is admitted, or if it is not admitted, in any case, that distinction cannot be surpassed. Because, validity has already been said in the occasion when all things are naturally functioning. If the nature of the general is also true, then it says "difference or" etc., according to difference etc., one thing of the general appears as different, or according to cold ones etc., it can also be not the same, connect "for those it is not true" to there. Why? Because in any case, a damaging measure will arise, so it cannot be both different and the same, because that is impossible. The valid measure with damage has already been said before, and will also be explained in the future. Also, if such a general is expressed by sound, then, if it is admitted that the general that does not exist at that time is established on the thing and the sound is the object, then the thing is only distant, that is, it is only very scattered.

Also there. What is it? It is the term 'from sound and consciousness,' meaning from sound and the consciousness arising from it. Why? Because what is desired in that realm, what is desired in the realm of sound and consciousness, is absent in all things called general objects, and also because, apart from the general, there is no other quality of things that can be touched even in the slightest. According to those who speak of excluding others, it is because it speaks of the opposite of sound, and because that is also true of all things, it is impossible to separate things from sound and consciousness. It is because it is the cause of doing that and being based on that nature. There is no difference in the meanings that are different from others and different from different kinds, because it exists in everything that is different from different kinds. The special one depends on the fire mark. The special feature of reversal, based on the characteristic of distinguishing different kinds, is clear because it establishes sound for all similar kinds, because it makes a sign. This means that hearing depends on excluding others, so it is said to depend only on excluding others. Abandoning others means abandoning different kinds. This means that hearing is the nature of the agent of excluding others. Returning from what is not a tree, etc., is to welcome the doubts of others. According to those who speak of excluding others, in the nature of establishment, they do not grasp the tree or the non-tree. However, others grasp by distinguishing, it is said. In that, returning from what is not a tree, if one grasps the meaning of a tree, if one promises to grasp what is the meaning of the sound called a tree, then grasping the tree and the non-tree are mutually dependent, and one depends on the other, like this, by distinguishing what is not a tree, one grasps the meaning of a tree. The one who grasps the tree promises that grasping the non-tree is the leader, because the one who has not grasped the non-tree cannot distinguish. Thirteenth chapter. If one also grasps the non-tree by distinguishing the tree, then in that case, the one who grasps the non-tree becomes the one who takes grasping the tree as the leader, because without grasping the tree, by distinguishing it, one cannot establish the meaning of the non-tree. Like that.
