It is not, because there is no nature to distinguish merits. There is also no doubt in guarding the Vedas, etc., because that is to mark what does not abide. Even if there is a difference in merits, one should not strive to proclaim it accordingly, because its nature can also be established from elsewhere. Like ordinary people, people with incorrect accents, frivolous speakers, and like the language of a mute. The languages of various places do not have an inherent nature, but by the power of transmitted words, worldly people can understand them as they are, and also understand their combinations and decay, and similarly, they can also understand well-composed sounds. Whoever clings to the nature of sound, that is a foolish clinging. Even if the word order is reversed, if one understands the connection between the words, then it is not reversed, nor is it without the ability to understand the meaning, because there is no certainty about this, and to facilitate understanding, one should also combine the various parts of the words well. From how the order of those words exists, one can understand the meaning. If it is said that one cannot understand from reversal, but can comprehend the word order from it, then if one does not understand the connection between the words, one cannot understand the word order either, because if one does not understand the connection between those sounds, how can one distinguish which is before and which is after? If one understands the connection, one can understand the connection as it exists. For language, there is no certainty about the order of words, such as "the king's man" or "the man's king." As long as the seed of the word is fully matured, then the language is unified, such as "Devadatta, bring the black thing." Even if there is no combination according to the order of words here, there is no difference in understanding the meaning. There is no attachment to word order at all, and even without a word of commitment, one can understand the meaning as it is, which is what is to be expressed. If one excessively combines the sound of the meaning that needs to be understood, it will be too excessive, and the connection of the remaining parts will also become distant.

Then, for the subject, there is no necessity to show its own existence. In either way, understanding will arise, so it is said. For those who do not understand the connection of words, since they cannot understand the order from them, therefore, since this is meaningless, there is no difference. One should not separately say what is untimely. If any branch is missing, it is incomplete. If any statement lacks a branch such as the proposition, then that statement is incomplete. If there is no establisher, what is to be established will not be established. If the proposition is easy, it is not incomplete, because even without it, one can understand, so it is said. Others say that if the non-existent itself is a characteristic, it should also be refuted. For the establisher of the meaning to be understood, whatever is a soundless combination should be refuted. Because those who speak meaningful words are not like that. What is said without proper analysis is not a branch of the establisher of the proposition. Excess of reason and example is excess, because it is produced. Apart from "because it is produced," the other is meaningless. If there is an agreed-upon certainty, one should know that that is it. Whatever is a single combination of an establishing statement, the preceding analysis, is meaningless, this is the place of refutation. For various stories, there is no fault at all, because there is no certainty. Other than repetition, repeating sound and meaning is repetition. Repetition of sound, such as "sound is impermanent, sound is impermanent." Repetition of meaning, such as "sound is impermanent, sound is a phenomenon of exclusion." Here, the repetition of sound should not be done separately, because it can be understood from the very words of the repetition of meaning. There is no fault at all in different meanings with the same sound. For example, if the master becomes fierce, he will become very fierce. Putting on equipment, running covered in dust, he will run very much. If someone with qualities and without faults is harmed, he will be greatly reviled. Buying a mill with little money,
