Even in cases where both are in doubt, the unestablished (ma grub pa) of doubting the existence of a reason (gTan tshigs) for a subject (chos can) is not itself a fault of the reason. Other than the unestablished and contradictory, there is no cause for defeat called the contradiction of the proposition (dam bcas pa) and the reason. The unestablished and contradictory are to show that it is stated as if resenting the reason. The contradiction of the proposition and the reason should not be stated separately. If it is because it relies on both contradictions, therefore the one who wants to state wants to show the other, then the contradiction of the proposition and the reason, relying on both the proposition and the reason is also true. Among them, when one wants to contradict the proposition, it is called the contradiction of the reason. Therefore, one should state without fault, "contradictory to the proposition and contradictory to the reason." An example of a reason is: sound is permanent, because it is of the nature of arising (skye ba'i chos can). Contradictory to the proposition is selflessness. An example of the proposition and the reason contradicting each other is: different from qualities, and so on. An example of the proposition contradicting the reason is: it is not that there is one thing, and so on. If you say so, that is not right. As said before, the contradiction that depends on the reason is because it does not go beyond all seemingly valid reasons. For the case of wanting to contradict the proposition alone, without relying on anything, the contradiction of the proposition and the reason has nothing to do with stating the reason. Because it is of the nature of arising, therefore it is permanent, it should not be considered a contradiction of the reason either. If the proposition harms the reason, then that is the contradiction of the reason, but here it is because the reason harms the proposition, so it should not be contradictory to the proposition. The contradiction that depends on both is also because it relies on what is to be harmed, it is established as contradictory. As has been said, one should also state the contradiction of the proposition and the example, etc., in the manner of a mocker drawing a picture. Among them, if it becomes contradictory to the example because it has the opposite nature of the property of the subject (phyogs su byas pa'i chos), then in the contradictory example, having the property of the subject and common with others

When it is not fully established, if one insists on it, it is like a contradictory pseudo-reason. If it is not fully established, then it is either a common uncertain or a non-common and uncommon uncertain. If it is said that it does not apply to contradictory examples, but applies to the opposite reason, then the reason itself has no fault, but there is some contradiction between the commitment and the example, that is not right. Because that is also because the doubtful reason itself has no opposite situation. What contradicts the example is the fault that matches the commitment, not the dissimilar attribute, because that is the obvious intention. For examples with similar attributes, if they have opposite attributes, then it cannot be said that things are not wrong in what needs to be proved, nor can it be said that the reason has no wrong attributes. Since the correlation of the reason is not explained, it is uncertain. Therefore, the contradiction between the commitment and the example does not go beyond the pseudo-reason. If it is said that there is a fault in either case, that is not right. Because, in the special proof link, if the debater determines the order, then since the fault of the reason already exists, the failure does not depend on other faults. The attribute similar to the example is the characteristic of the reason, and the contradiction does not exist in the example. Since the failure due to the fault of the reason has been explained earlier, it is unreasonable to examine the contradiction in the example later. The reason also contradicts the example. If the non-common attribute does not apply to both, then the contradiction itself, if it applies to dissimilar attributes. The reason that contradicts the valid cognition, for example, cannot burn because it is cold, which is like an unestablished pseudo-reason. The valid cognition that contradicts the commitment is expressed through one's own language. All those things that need to be proved are included in the pseudo-reasons. The pseudo-reason is revealed through the language itself. In any case, for the debater in the other party's answer, things like cattle are uncertain through their own established way, that is not relevant, because when things like cattle are established to others through their own established way
