And where, like this, those who enter (into debate), by requesting permission, cause beings to approach suffering, this is not praised by the noble ones, it is unreasonable. The noble ones will not create rational treatises for the sake of accumulating wealth and so on. Therefore, it should be said that this is the dispute of those who only wish for unreasonable things to prevail. When other noble ones enter (into debate) in a compliant manner, being grasped by wrong understandings, by stating correct arguments, or by stating correct faults, they will follow reason, because this is to make sense perception understandable. Therefore, this is the dispute of the noble ones who follow reason. When it is shown by reason, if one wishes to understand that unique meaning, he can understand, and if he does not understand, others will not fail to understand. If, for the sake of protecting that unique truth, the noble ones also wish to sanction the winner by means of causes and so on, that is not permissible, because it can also be said to strike with fists, slaps, weapons, and even with fire and so on. This is not a noble method of protecting that unique truth, the noble ones are good at showing arguments, refuting seemingly argumentative views, this is the method of protecting that unique truth. Without these, even if one speaks lies, sacred words, and words that cause others to suffer, that unique truth will not exist. On the other hand, showing reason to the wise ones, because this is the most excellent. Therefore, in order for the debater to comply with others, the most excellent display of that unique truth is the winner, by stating correct faults, causing the wrong entry to be reversed, this is the counter-argument winner. Or, for the argument, whatever states that there is no fault, because this does not hinder the realization of the meaning of the argument itself that the debater desires. Because these are stated, the debater is the basis of sanction, because the wrong answer is stated. For example, even if the debater does not want the established dharma to become what is to be established, but because the treatise has been promised, it should also be established.

Saying "it is a pot" is stating a contradiction in a reverse way. Saying "no self" is a contradictory statement of the proposition, which is stating the fault of the proposition. The reason for saying "because it just arose" is that it is a distinction of the subject of the law, so it is one aspect of the fault of the proposition, just like saying that it is not established, and in all things such as being in accordance with the proof and the law, it is a seemingly correct answer. Stating such seemingly faulty things is not stating faults. The debater extremely shows the statement of such seemingly faulty things, that is, to say that the opponent is defeated, because the former's proof is without fault. Even if there are shortcomings, neither of the two is victory or defeat for the proof, because there is no understanding of the truth, and there is no statement of faults. Those who do not have an opposing side and have established their own side will become victors. Therefore, those who want to know should establish their own side and refute the other's side. When the debater states the proof without fault, if the opponent states something that seems like a fault, because it states something that seems like a refutation, it is victory and defeat, and it will not become another form. Even if the truth of things has been said, because it is not possible to show the truth in the way of refuting the opposing side. Therefore, the opponent will not become a victor here, because it is showing things upside down. Others are unreasonable, so I don't want them. Wherever there is no characteristic of the place of debate as described here, it is unreasonable to be the place of debate itself. We have not shown it, that is what is said. In this regard, if the self-example admits the dharma of the dissimilar example, it is harmful to the proposition, refuting the idea of explaining what is said to be the place of debate, and what is said in the direction of those who dwell in the commentary should be shown. Whenever the dharma of the dissimilar example is the self-example
