So, how are such things established as terms? We don't say that a rabbit has (a little) horn, but rather, like this, we prevent (the rabbit) from having a horn, and that is the prevention of existence. Furthermore, those who establish terms in some way fabricate and show it as if it has some function, but that is not the case. Because, suchness is devoid of all things, and does not possess any essence. Such destruction does not exist, because the thing is its very essence. If the explainers also say that, but the self is not like that. At that time, it is not desired that it change slightly. Therefore, self is not beyond the two discriminations of this and that of the nature of things. The nature of non-suchness is otherness. Form and taste, etc., becoming otherness to each other, are like non-otherness. If it is said that not relying on self-nature is otherness, then what is reliance? What does not change there, and self-nature does not become other? If it is said to be birth, then all causes and effects will become impossible to mutually describe. In this way, since everything is connected to everything in some way, nothing will become other. If it cannot be described in this way, then the nature of cause and effect will also be expressed in other words. It is not another difference, but it is said that not following self-nature itself is otherness. That is, having self-nature, existing in other and other, that is otherness. From the perspective of the self-nature dependence of its birth characteristic, there is no other dependence, because there is no contradiction to the illusion of non-dependence. Because it is different from the Dharma, it is otherness. If it is said to be the dependence caused by knowledge, then, if it changes, then what is the knowledge that does not arise without realization? Because it must appear in realization, even if it is ultimately not its self-nature, if it is said that it cannot be described, then it is not so.

Because that is the very emptiness of self-nature. That nature is the very nature of whatever appears. If it possesses a nature, then this would entail the fault of appearing similar to that. If what is capable of appearing does not appear, it is because it does not exist. Even if it does not appear, if its essence is not known, then in that way, it is known what depends on what. When the nature of what knows what it depends on appears, it is not diminished, just like those who know that blue and so on depend on appearance. In that case, what is the meaning of being close to that? By what will one realize that it is the nature of selflessness? The self-natures each abide closely. In that case, it would become an extreme fault. If it is said that the one who realizes is the proximate cause of those, then what is the meaning of proximate cause? It is also not the nature of cause and effect, because it is not acknowledged. Even if it is acknowledged, the cause and effect are not those that mutually know and are established in proximity. If it is said that it is close because it does not arise without that very consciousness, then hasn't it been said that it is not reasonable for that dependence to not exist? It has also been said that there is not even a little dependence on those that are not cause and effect. If it is said, "What is the consciousness that does not arise without realization?" If this consciousness also exists, then in consciousness, whatever appears as not being its own nature and without being mixed, is not even a little consciousness. Because that does not exist, the characteristic of not being able to express the nature of things is established. Therefore, because it exists ultimately, that itself becomes dependent on others. Whatever thing is of the nature of destruction, which does not change in any way, if it is said that it will become non-existent, it is called non-thing transformation. If it is said that this will make the thing non-existent, by saying so, it will show that it does not become a thing. In that case, it will become contradictory, because negation and affirmation are impossible. Therefore, this destruction has no cause whatsoever. Thus, if there is a little action, then it will become dependent on others, whatever thing does not do a little, why by someone
