This discrimination arises when something is attributed to another meaning, or when it is undoubtedly considered to be that very thing. Therefore, it is indeed transformed into another meaning, and even if it is not that other, the act of bestowing benefits, etc., transcends that state and is examined. Therefore, the nature of existence does not go beyond that itself, and the function of bestowing benefits is characterized by the ability to establish, because it is separate from the actions of that and not that, it is not the cause of anything, and there is no need to rely on what is not a cause. Therefore, it can be determined that the nature of this thing is its very essence. If it is also without a cause for destruction, since it is permanent, things and destruction should arise simultaneously. From where is the nature of fire said to be permanent? If it changes in that way, then what destroys it? If it is said to be without cause, then it is undoubtedly permanent, therefore things and destruction, those things that do not have the characteristic of non-existence, will arise simultaneously. No, because the qualities of permanence and impermanence are not allowed there. The discrimination of non-existence is not existence, because those are the nature of things. Destruction is because it is nothing at all. Arising will arise together with some things, and destruction will not change, therefore there is no fault. For non-existent things, the non-existence of things and destruction, the fault of arising simultaneously is also not allowed, because things through destruction do not desire destruction. If non-existent destruction destroys things, how is that possible? Therefore, things will not become destroyed. Saying "it is also the fault of arising simultaneously" is also not the case, because it is not admitted that things are destroyed from destruction. If it is said that destruction is nothing, then how can it be thought that things are destroyed from there? Now, if destruction does not exist, then how can it be said that things are destroyed? The state that has arisen now, something that does not have destruction will not be destroyed. If something does not possess something, then it will not be called by it, or it is not understood, just as a horse is not called by horns.

Although there is no non-destruction, any change of things is not existent, because things are destructible dharmas that exist for a moment. Its nature, that it will be destroyed later, after determining this, just as it is known, a name is given. This has already been said. Things do not change even at some point. However, it will turn into such destruction from its own causes. Therefore, no existence is the cause of its destruction. What is it? It is said to be its own nature. So how can it be said that destruction is causeless? The destruction of things does not depend on others, because knowing this, the mind gives it a name, saying that the state is causeless. The arising of things does not obtain destruction from others. It becomes like that because it arises by itself. In this way, in order to prevent dependence on other dharmas, and in order to know its nature, the mind distinguishes it as if separating the meaning of dharma from the nature of dharma, and when wanting to know only that, it speaks to the nature in this way. Some people, because they see it that way, are only confused by the sound, and those of low intelligence think that this and that are the merits of destruction, and think that it has existence and cause, or establish it as causeless, and measure things with things that do not truly exist, thereby confusing themselves. If it does not exist, and it exists by itself, then this distinction is the same. Even if it does not arise from others, if the destruction of things exists by its own nature, then is this distinction not the same as that and not that? Even so, when other things arise, why do things not appear? If it is not other, then it will become itself. Therefore, if there is no arising of this at all, then how is it called destruction? This has no change at all. However, it is unchanging. Is it not said so? This is not the destruction of things, nor does it become something else. It is not said so. So what is it? It itself does not become a thing.
