If it is said that there is no fault in the direction, it is not so, because for it, just like magnets and so on, it depends on the particularity of abiding in a suitable place. If it were not so, there would be no difference between clear and unclear hearing. Even if there is a condition of an object, it would be the same object for all objects. Therefore, it is not non-pervasive. If it is pervasive, then everyone would simultaneously perceive objects. Because it is not non-existent for some sounds, all those who dwell in all objects would simultaneously perceive objects, because the sense faculty is suitable, and the object is close, and there is no obstacle. If it is a conditioned object, then what does the unchanging one perfect? If it changes in that way, even if all sounds exist, it will not be an object, because only by perfecting the conditioned can it be an object. To this, the conditioned is not an object, because the unchangeable cannot be conditioned. If the sense faculty is perfected, then it will also hear everything. To this, if it is an object because of perfection, then it will not be an object because it was not perfected at first. Whoever perfects the sense faculty will simultaneously hear all kinds of sounds, and if so, then the fault of non-return is itself. If because of the difference of perfection, a different thing is determined, how can the noise of various collections of sounds be heard? If the conditioned is also determined as various sounds, then because some sense faculties are well perfected and hold some, it is not that all sounds are heard simultaneously. If because of the difference of perfection, the sense faculties determine hearing, then the noise of the collection of sounds will not be heard. Noise is not a single sound, because things of different nature are heard simultaneously. The distinction of difference is also dependent on those of different nature. If because of rapid entry, simultaneous hearing is confused, then the understanding of the continuity of sounds such as flutes, the mixture produced from the collection of parts,

It will be transformed. This can be prevented, which will be explained below. Therefore, the senses are able to understand separately, so the noisy sound is not heard. If the sound is vague, then what is heard is not expression. In a noisy sound, letters, words, and speech are not heard, because only vague sounds are heard. For expression, the senses each have a definite ability, but not for mere sounds. Therefore, it is said, "Sound is different from expression." One should have great faith in this. We have not seen that the mere essence of sound and expression are different. When the order of letters is heard at the same time, the essence of sound is determined to be unique. Therefore, how can a term with prior certainty be used without being completely cut off? Therefore, this difference in sound is called letters, etc. Furthermore, when other sounds are present, how is expression heard? From this, it can be seen that the mere essence of sound is neither simultaneous nor different. For obvious facts, this is not something that can be revealed by others. Therefore, when other speakers are present, hearing some sounds determines that the cause of its target cannot be used to prove other sounds. If they become abilities, then the one proving it will become the target. How can causes with the same nature make noisy sounds turn into other meanings? Because there is no different cause, the difference in results is unreasonable. As has already been said, that would lead to having no cause. Noisy sounds are not without hearing expression, because the cutting off of words and speech is clearly indicated. Or, because the ability is definite, how can different sounds be understood? Even those senses with definite abilities, when hearing various kinds of sound essences, these sounds themselves are not, therefore, they turn their backs on these sounds. It has been said that mere sound cannot be established separately from expression, so how can it not be established? Because meaning is understood from words. The extremely small part of mere sound cannot understand meaning.
