It will change. If that which is the nature of producing also changes into something else, then its nature will not become different from it. If it is said that nature follows, then, if one self, many produce one result, because one self also has it, then producing together becomes meaningless. If it is because of the same nature that many produce one, then their non-different nature also exists even if there is only one, because it is not separate from the cause. One will also produce an effect. Like this, that non-different entity is separate from all the differences of doing and not doing. For that non-different nature, it is not possessed by other differences. If there are differences, then non-difference will disappear. It also exists in it, so in one existence, there is no separation from it. Any difference, because there is no necessity of co-existence, will be separated. They are also not intended to produce an effect, because things that produce an effect simultaneously have already acknowledged that they are produced by one nature. Therefore, because the producer exists, and what does not exist is not the producer. If one existence can also produce a result, then it will not change. Therefore, separation from one is fruitless, and those differences arise from it. The result produced jointly by many co-producers will not change even if it is separated from one difference, and it will also change even if it is not separated from all differences. Even if it is not separated, it is not a non-different entity. The result is an unchanging phenomenon that arises from some things, because it is separated from those things. The non-different entity does not have separation in one existence, and if non-separation does not exist in it, then it shows that it is not the self of producing. If it arises from something that is similar to being separated from a collection, then there will be certainty. If it is thought to arise from other things, then it will be too extreme. Therefore, difference is what produces an effect, and generality is not. Therefore, only that is a thing. Like this, able to function

What is it? That is what truly exists. The characteristics of things and non-things are said to be what can function and what cannot function, and these will be explained. The meaning of being able to function is that which has no subsequent occurrence. If there is no subsequent occurrence, then there is no result from it. Therefore, all universals are incapable of functioning. Non-things exist, and things are only differences, because things arise only from differences. However, since there is no following of inherent nature, the essence of one producer does not exist in another. Therefore, it will not become a producer, or if it is a producer, then there is no difference, and because there is no difference, everything will become a producer. That is not the case, like this: Even though the entities are very different, some are causes and others are not. This is the nature; if all become different from the nature of one producer, then they will become equal producers, or nothing at all. In that case, how will there be any difference between them? Therefore, even if there are different distinctions, some are producers because some entities are superior, while others are not, and that is their nature, not that of others. Why is it that the nature of things is that fire burns or is warm, but water is not? It is not appropriate to argue and investigate, but only to ask, "Where does this nature come from?" Because without a cause and without dependence, it would become too extreme due to the lack of certainty. Therefore, it should be said that nature arises from its own cause. That is, it is the nature that produces it, arising from other things, and is a beginningless continuum of causes and effects. Some of the different ones are causes, and others are not, because it is their nature, and there is no harm in this. If they are not different, they will arise, perish, and change simultaneously. Because there is no difference in nature, it will not change like its own entity, in various categories such as arising, abiding, and ceasing. Therefore, in order to closely demonstrate the absence of difference. This is the characteristic of difference and non-difference.
